What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yesterday's carry, and usually in my pocket even if not the days "primary" knife. I just can't leave it at home.

Haven't been posting much lately as I have a roof issue to contend with, but I have been trying to keep current. Beautiful knives and photos from everyone as always :thumbup:

For me today, at least until I get home where a new addition should be waiting :).

My dad just gave me his dad's last knife he carried. Case 6318HE from about the late 50's or early 60's. Basically about as old as me. Cleaned up real nice.

I don't think anyone would want to let that one linger at home, Drew! It is the one with the meteorite shield, right?

What a great treasure to have!

Today is cloudy, rainy, and gloomy so I'm brightening it up by carrying this "A New Day" Barlow. :) {which for some reason makes me think of James Bond :confused:}

Priceless. You are very fortunate to have such an hierloom!

Thank you Dean :) and yes it is, hard to tell in the pic but it gleams like a diamond in the sun.. really cool effect. I used it for some good honest household chores yesterday. Determined for it not to be a display piece. And your New Day TC reminds me of James Bond as well... would be perfect as a tuxedo carry but also serve admirably in a tough spot:thumbup:

Thanks, Gev and Jack. :) Rough Rider's gunstock checkered bone is a thing of beauty to me, but the canoe is the only knife I currently have in that handle material. Jack, thanks for setting me straight on the Rodgers buffalo lambsfoot; I just assumed it was one of your "old friends". :rolleyes:

It is certainly WITH an old user GT! ;) :D :thumbup:

Nirvana in lambsfoot! :eek:

Thank you my friend :) :thumbup:

A fine combination Mr. Jack. :thumbup::)
