Great looking fixed blade knife, Tom!
That is so nice! What a classy knife.
Supreme WLST, Barrett!
Sticking with the Ebony theme of this thread lately, I've got this one in my pocket again today (older photo of it):

Congrats, Vaporstang; what a classic configuration!
Even on a weird moose (?) head, that is so dignified, Ken! (Like your new signature; even better than that Red Green thing.
Very distinguished, Travman!
More encomiums for ebony from me!More Ebony for me today.

Black Beauty, Shawn!...
This little 14 has been in my pocket non-stop since it came in. I even woke up with it still in my pocket this morning! In my opinion, this is the perfect size for a pocket knife.

Have a wonderful Friday, Porch!
Dark, dazzling, and delightful, Rachel; Shawn's is awesome, but IMHO, you trump his with the added pen blade! (And many of us consider beans & toast a delicacy!
I like my Opinels, but MAMs are serious slicers, too. Very fine, FBC!I FINALLY got lucky and carried a "wooden" knife on Wooden Wednesday!

Oldie but a goodie pic.![]()
Who can blame you, Drew? That knife is out of this world, literally!Yesterday's carry, and usually in my pocket even if not the days "primary" knife. I just can't leave it at home.

Roof issues are way less than ideal, Tom; hope you get it resolved soon, without too much financial strain!
Having your grandfather's knife, even if it's just a sharp rock, is awesome, pmek!
That New Day Barlow should definitely chase away the gloom, Dean; I really like the spey blade! But James Bond??? That fills me with True Consternation!
Ah, back to two knives again, and a dandy duo it is, Jack! When I saw the first pic, I said OH OH!! (Shorthand for Ox Horn On Horizon, of course.
In the Bible, there's a parable about a man who sells everything he has so he can buy an exquisite pearl; I wonder if it could have been a knife like yours, Kris! So breathtaking!Serpentine trapper from Tom Overeynder, gold pins and shield, presentation grade black lip pearl

Thanks for some further ruminations on that blue beauty, ~P. I see what you mean: when you're under a spell and have no choice regarding that knife, "compulsion", rather than "commitment", is an appropriate term!...
Ah, but that's just it-- this knife's arrival has obliterated my Decision Tree, quietly yet pervasively imposing its rightness day after day, which became Every Day. It quickly became default, and remains so. I pocket this one, and then wonder, "What else," if any. It's whatever the opposite of commitment and choice imply!

The Greek Euro, featuring the original Strix, came to me through friendship. A best coin, on every level.

Captivating crimson trio, Alan!
Congrats on the new fixed blade, Tom! After reading about some of your early experiences with knives, I better understand your fixation on fixed blades!
That New Day Barlow should definitely chase away the gloom, Dean; I really like the spey blade! But James Bond??? That fills me with True Consternation!
