What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A double dose of Ebony today :)

I love the bottle opener! Both of those ebony covered blades are gorgeous as well.

Another fine pair, Tom! I wonder how many different fixed-folder pairs you could display??

Resting in the bottom of that pocket, tucked into a whittling thumb guard, are a Vic Cadet II (thanks, Ken) and a Rough Rider small stockman (thanks, r8shell):

Hmmmm.... Someone good at math would need to help me with that ;). For traditionals, and not counting hunting or fishing knives, multi tools, etc. I have 8 different fixed blades that I select from each day for EDC duties, and maybe 30 different folders. If I am correct that is 38 objects that can be combined into sets of 2, so 8 * 30 = 240 combinations?

That is a special stockman, and looks great paired with the cadet

Mine today:

Always a treat to see that one Gary

Bladeforums was down when I was trying to post yesterday morning, before I headed over to Huddersfield to belatedly celebrate Yorkshire Day with Thom and ADEE, and having only received it the afternoon before, I haven't managed to get a pic of the knife I was carrying yet. Thom managed to capture the knife's first use, fishing out a fly that had just dive-bombed my beer! :D

I'm carrying that one again today, which I'll hopefully photograph and post about later, along with my Lambsfoot

Thanks for the shoutout, Jack. Nice picture of your Lambsfoot!

Something a little different today. Menefee Half Congress.

Gary, I'm not typically a fan of the congress pattern but I can't stop looking at this one!

Oh I do like that one Gary, it is a very very nice example of a pattern that you rarely see custom versions of.

I've this today;

- Paul

Paul, you're killing me! The grain on that 25 is breathtaking!

Here's mine for today - Buffalo horn 26.

Thanks Jack ;)

Gary a beautiful 1/2 Congress. What material are those handles, if I may ask?

Thanks, Ron. The handles are Micarta (linen maybe?), the color is a little less red then what came out in the picture. Somehow I've managed to misplace the specs on this one.

Thanks Paul. It's a pretty nice little knife, that I don't carry often. At 3 1/2" it's a nice slim carry though.

The wood on your EO is incredible!
