Very nice! I love those spearpoint #25's, and carry my Ebony like that all the time. Did you do the EO notch yourself? It looks good. I have one spearpoint #25 with an EO notch done by a member here and I think it fits the knife well.

Yeah I'm really loving everything about this knife. I traded for the knife and it already had the notch added, but I hear it was also from a member here. Perhaps the same person? Either way it's done very, very well. Can't wait to start seeing a patina develop on this bad boy!

Enjoy your picnic with that gorgeous Abbeydale, Jack Black!

I'm working in the dirt today, so a pair of Case knives seemed obvious.

Thank you my friend, after a full day with 3 kids under eight, I am absolutely shattered! :D That's a classic combination

Some ebony was needed for a funeral today.

Then when I returned home I found a small package waiting for me with an Oz postmark;

Really cheered me up, some bright blue to combat the blues - how ironic!

Thanks Jon, you're very kind. This forum is such a great place!

Sorry for your troubles Paul, classy choice of carry  Way to go Meako! That's a nice one :)

Hey Pete! :) :)

Stunning Paul

Went to the zoo yesterday with my granddaughters. Although my granddaughters love me, I get no respect from the animals there.

For consolation, I'm carrying my Scratted Barlow today.

LOL! :D Great pics

Wow!! Great knives all!!

I haven't posted in a while as I've been very busy.

I went with some colour today. A GEC 66 and a Vic Soldier.

Have a great day everyone!

Just got this ebony 83 delivered yesterday, and it was in my pocket today.

Congrats on that ebony 83, Elgin; very sophisticated!

Get a good look because this little beauty is heading out. I bought this off the exchange to be a gift.

Alan
Someone will be VERY happy with that gift, Alan!

Thanks Gary. That one was done by our friend Markesharp.
That young man does excellent work, Bob! ;)

Having trouble moving pictures to Photobucket . Have to use some older photos.Couple of Old Cats today.

Harry
Such a comely couple of Catts, Harry! (Hope the Photobucket problems don’t last long. :()

Glad to read that you could use that Camillus electrician in a manner for which it was made, Vaporstang!!

...
Glad you made it safe and sound GT
... I was at a flea-market with Thom and ADEE yesterday, but didn't see anything at all worth buying :(

Thanks again GT, there's a lot of folks here haven't heard of Yorkshire Day too! :D You'll have to look out for some Henderson's Relish to Yorkshire-up your pasties! :D
...
Thanks, Jack. I’m happy to be here safely, but my family often questions how sound I am in various ways. Sorry to hear about your flea-market disappointment; still, better odds than the lottery IMHO. ;)
Thanks also for the gustatory advice! :)

A double dose of Ebony today

What an elegant daily double, Ron!

...
For Wooden Wednesday here's a picture of the grain in my ebony #14 Boy's Knife.
Great grain photo, r8shell!

...
I've this today;

- Paul
Speaking of great grain … What type of wood is that, Paul? Stunning!

Hmmmm.... Someone good at math would need to help me with that ;). For traditionals, and not counting hunting or fishing knives, multi tools, etc. I have 8 different fixed blades that I select from each day for EDC duties, and maybe 30 different folders. If I am correct that is 38 objects that can be combined into sets of 2, so 8 * 30 = 240 combinations?

That is a special stockman, and looks great paired with the cadet

Mine today:

Another fantastic pair, Tom, and I agree that it’s one of 240 fixed/folder pairs you could show! Your analysis looks flawless to me; you should pick up a few more knives so you can go a year without repeating a pairing! ;) Thanks for the comment on my stockman/cadet2 pairing.

Been sick that last couple of weeks but I finally seem to be on the mend. The beer scout in my pocket definitely is helping me feel better. :)

Glad you're starting to feel better, Cball; the therapeutic powers of a BSK are well-known on The Porch! :D

...
Here's mine for today - Buffalo horn 26.

Ken, your 26s are outstanding little pen knives!! This one is no exception!

...
I carried my old Schrade Cut. Co. sleeveboard today:

Exquisite sleeveboard penknife, Primble!!

Rockin' the Douk Douk today.
...
Very dapper Douk Douk, FBC! I’ve been thinking of adding one to the “international wing” of my collection, but I’m probably leaning toward that model with the squirrel on it.

...
Two from Wilfred Works are with me today, Larry Parson's elephant hide sheath

Zulu in stag and a Texas jack in old bone

...
Both Boses are beguiling, Kris, but the stag Zulu really grabbed me this time!

Taking my mate and his kids (one of whom is called Ripley) to visit Ripley Castle today :) Hoping for some nice picnic weather. Got my Abbeydale and Radio Jack

Coming in loud and clear on your Radio, Jack!! :D:thumbup:

AahGU33.jpg

Starting vacation so I need to take do-it-all type of knife, hence sportmesser :)
A.L., you certainly have some desirable scout knives!! Enjoy your vacation!

New CV Case Sowbelly came yesterday :)

20160805_100918.jpg
Congratulations on the awesome Sowbelly, Mike!! Is that bone stag? That shield is unique for a Case sowbelly, isn't it?

…
Today, this fine modest piece...

Northwoods%20Canoe.jpg
What a champion canoe, Paul!! Fine, yes; modest describes you, not the canoe, I think! ;)

Went to the zoo yesterday with my granddaughters. Although my granddaughters love me, I get no respect from the animals there.

For consolation, I'm carrying my Scratted Barlow today.

For goodness’ sake, Dean, please tell me you weren’t carrying something with giraffe bone covers yesterday!!:D:eek: Your Ancient is aces!

Just came in the mail...

Congrats, btmac, on that wonderful Winchester Barlow!

Thank you my friend, after a full day with 3 kids under eight, I am absolutely shattered! :D That's a classic combination
…
I'm vacationing on Lake Huron, and there are 6 small cottages here. Some of our "neighbors" for the week include Charlotte and Milly, two sisters who are under 8, although their default volume seems to be 11!!:p

Wow!! Great knives all!!

I haven't posted in a while as I've been very busy.

I went with some colour today. A GEC 66 and a Vic Soldier.

Ken K.
Ken, good to see you back! That tomatoey 66 harness jack is outstanding!

In a pouch on my belt, I have 3 knives (and a cell phone, flashlight, and Chinese Micraesque multitool) for this week and next.

Thanks GT, looks like I'm not the only one partial to ebony (or any dark colored) covers. Beautiful knives guys.

You know, Gary, I don't have a giraffe bone knife, but I honestly had not thought about my Camel bone Norfolk...luckily it was home as I did run into some camels.

I see you are exploring your Pioneering spirit this week.

Gorgeous! Any ragg on the pile side?
