What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I can see why that one's a favorite Ron. That OO is getting a ton of character!

Thanks Gary! :) Love that Stag Senator!

Business casual for me today at work and the same when Pam took me to Ruth Chris for my birthday dinner this evening. I had this Case Chestnut Bone CV SBJ in my pocket all day. :D

Ron, hope you had a great birthday buddy! That's a great shot of the SBJ as well

It's getting a bit humid as it cools down over here. My carbon knives don't seem to like that...stainless it is!

I hope you had a fine Birthday, Ron! A fine carry on a special day!! I wish you many more:D

Happy birthday, Ron! You can't beat an SBJ. That's a nice one.

I picked up this well used ram horn railsplitter off the exchange about a month back, and it has become my perfect daily carry for work, where it gets rough and sweaty treatment. The horn shows a nice "pocket worn" look, and the D2 blades hold a great edge and have, so far, resisted any corrosion.

Super cool railslpitter! First time that I have seen one of those RAT Traditionals.

My understanding is that a standard canoe is 3 5/8” closed with two blades, almost always spear/pen combo. Gunboats have more than 2 blades (most I’ve seen have 3 configured like a stockman instead of a whittler) and they’re usually substantially bigger than a standard Canoe. (Of course, I could be wrong.)
Very nice RR sowbelly, FBC! I have one identical to yours that introduced me to the sowbelly stockman pattern and I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed that pattern once I started carrying it!

Haven't really felt like knife-guy lately, except for my ankermesser I carry daily now

Happy belated birthday old man. :D I'm only a year behind, but you're still older than me. :D Hope you had a great evening out with miss Pam.
Excellent choice going with the SBJ.

Happy belated birthday, Ron! That SBJ is gorgeous. I hope you had a wonderful day.

Beautiful knives Tim and flatblackcapo!

My 25's persistence to be in my pocket seems to be equivalent to this little plant's persistence to grow in this massive rock parking lot.
