Thanks, the covers on the Hibbard appear to be some sort of laminated, man-made material - not Delrin but possibly a phenolic material of some sort.
I always enjoy seeing your Abbeydale, Jack. If knives could talk, it'd be high on my list to buy a pint for and listen to its stories. Perhaps some day I'll be traveling through England and can apply that pint to you instead.
