This little IXL barlow has become a right regular pocket hog, 'incorrect' blade and all! (I prefer clips, this is a spear, and is perfect.)

Thank you, Meako, for the stamps!

Gotta love an I*XL Barlow, Sarah!:thumbup:

Back to the old standby today.

That's a great standard to have, Barrett! The bone on that one combined with the patina makes an attractive combination.

Looks like that Barlow is Tenderly Cared for, Dean! Nice composition that reminds me of my interest in palindromes. Is level level? Si!

Thanks, Gary. :)

Beautiful Cripple Creek Barlows, Dee!:thumbup:

First day of rain in weeks. I haven't had to mow the grass since July.

Wow! That is a gorgeous Case Sheepfoot in what looks like pristine condition.

^^^^Another matching pair today, Dee!

My almost EDC Barlow and newest stockman.

Thanks, Gev! The Case is brand new - 8/25/16. I like your sheepfoot Ulster cutaway!

Looking forward to seeing more of it:thumbup::thumbup: Yea...I have been on the hunt forever for a sheep Ulster...proud new papa;) Thanks

Well done everyone!

Thanks for the kind comment Will. The Northwoods is mammoth.

Very nice r8shell and meako. I was inspired to have marmalade on my toast today. A very nice whisky infused one I get at the market!!

I carried these two today. A Case 6254, thanks Primble and a Vic Cadet II.

Have a good one all!

My grandpa always bought vic classics for 10$ at Walmart and replaced them when worn out, so naturally his last one was pretty much shot. Since I couldn't carry it the next best thing would be to put his scales on my grandmas unused classic, which I've been edcing for the past week ( mostly for the tweezers ). So far I really like these pocket worn scales much better than the shiny new ones on my pocket pal.

I wanted to carry a vic classic because that's what my grandpa carried, now I have a like new classic owned by my grandma that is sporting scales which were worn by my grandpa's hands and pocket.

OK the marmalade is runny and hasn't set. A strange angry voice in my head is saying "Its science Jessie! Chemistry!"
I'm reboiling today in a vain attempt to recover the "product" :(. I know that when I finally taste that first gelatinous orangey spoonfull I'll go "tight tight tight chayeahhh" Then shoot one of my minions by frissbeeing a slice of toast at them.
The first alarm should have rung when mum asked about sharp knives. I should have moved straight to DEFCON 4 when my Dad (the Master of the marmalade) told me to follow the recipe on the jamsetta packet and then proceeded to make major changes to the whole thing. Dads! where would we be without 'em?-don't answer that.:D

Very cool!

Very cool!

If my grandmas classic didn't have pink scales I probably would've left it as is, but I just couldn't.
Pink just isn't my color, yellow isn't exactly my favorite color either but I do love bananas which it reminds me of . Now I have a knife that's connected to both my grandparents.

My dad was a Renaissance man and a universal genius, but he had his funny ways. He liked to bake bread, and did it very well, but sometimes he would take a recipe, change everything, and then be outraged that it came out different.

Superb knife, Ron! I love the uniform patina on that spear; looks great with the black handles and shiny bolster!

All business is good, Ron!! I wonder how you selected the handle color?? ;)

This week I had an A Wright & Son stag lambsfoot senator and my Colonial Forest-Master on kitchen duty. But I have to admit that, for unknown reasons, I've been overwhelmed by nostalgia and have thoroughly enjoyed using my very first knife (the Forest-Master) almost exclusively for the past two weeks!
