Jack and GT- Much appreciated you two. Accidentally deleted my lengthy response to you both.![]()
Standout stag, Harry!
Spectacular vintage jack, Paul! :thumbup:Great knives everyone, the highlight of my day to peruse this thread:thumbup:
Just a well worn veteran with years of life left. Peachseed jigging, tight blades that are worn but yet VERY SHARP. Just a joy to carry:thumbup:

Thoughtful way to "reward" your favorite knife! I admire how enthusiastic you are about your Climber!![]()
Recently got some copper covers for my beloved Victorinox Climber. They are pretty good, they make the knife hefty and a little nicer looking than the plastic covers. The tools inside the scales are a little tougher to access, but I'm okay with that. If any of you guys wanna know where I got them, shoot me a PM!
Other than the scales, it's just a Victorinox Climber. Probably my most carried knife EVER. I just find it too useful to leave home without. It always accompanies me, no matter what other knife / knives I'm carrying!
Stylish canoe, Shane!!
VERY impressive pair today (probably yesterday, actually), Jack!
Hope the jam turns out well, meako! I'd never heard of sulphur-crested cockatoos before your post, but coincidentally, on Sunday my wife showed me an extremely entertaining old You-Tube video I'd never seen before, featuring what I'm guessing is a sulphur-crested cockatoo dancing enthusiastically and impressively to Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust".![]()
...What I can't work out is how or why the Sulphur crested Cocakatoos have ignored or missed this tree. ...
Stellar stockman, Scott! Seems like all the cool kids are getting this model! My Case 63090 today

Hope you can stay as cool as that stag pair you posted, Rachel!
Holy Haberdasher, Macchina!! That's an impressive hat you designed and manufactured!
Splendid Spanish selection, Thom! I have a Cudeman model very similar to that that I hold in high esteem.
Your "workout buddy"...
Today I'm carrying my most trusted pocket cutlery companion.

Have a good one all!

Superb idea, H & S!! :thumbup:My grandpa always bought vic classics for 10$ at Walmart and replaced them when worn out, so naturally his last one was pretty much shot. Since I couldn't carry it the next best thing would be to put his scales on my grandmas unused classic, which I've been edcing for the past week ( mostly for the tweezers ). So far I really like these pocket worn scales much better than the shiny new ones on my pocket pal.
I wanted to carry a vic classic because that's what my grandpa carried, now I have a like new classic owned by my grandma that is sporting scales which were worn by my grandpa's hands and pocket.
Thanks, Ron. That Orchard Gem sure is a superlative knife! :thumbup:Gary thank you for the compliments.Your Senator is a wonderful example.
I was Totin the Gem today.

Scintillating photo, Captain!
There may well have been. I once saw a serrate-sheepfoot Schrade of some extra fancy wooden-handled type at the mall in Salamanca. Salamanca's on the way home after I've spent enough, though, so I left it.Some serious serration there, scrteened porch! Wasn't there an Old Timer model with a serrated blade?
Thanks Jack:thumbup:
Do you think that 'J' on your old knife could be No.21 the Cyrillic for 'F' ?![]()
VERY impressive pair today (probably yesterday, actually), Jack!I heard a radio program yesterday that included Mark Knopfler of Dire Straights fame. He apparently spent some time in Leeds. Jack, you seem to know almost everyone - how about that guy??
