Thanks, Jack! Nice choice today! Great Davison!

Thank you, Gary. When I saw the features on this version were exactly what I wanted (cv, two blade wharncliffe/pen) I knew if I waited to buy it'd be discontinued/unavailable the next time I look for one.

That's some pretty stag there, and the pear looks good, too.

WOW. I think three pages has gone by...

I wish I could help you with the rams horn problem, GT. Maybe you could contact a manufacturer?

That's a beautiful Queen Barlow, Invoice.

You have a funny way of showing your displeasure with unpinned shields, T.Erdelyi. I love it!

Gary, that's an amazing Le Thiers and equally striking sheath. I may have to contact G2.

You never disappoint, Jack Black. That Davison is no exception to that.

Fantastic sunset and TC New Day, Paul!

Excellent comparison shot, JoelSM!

Like most days, I've got my baby's Peanut on me.

Thanks Shawn, BEAUTIFUL green bone on that peanut:thumbup:

Bob, that's a clean looking knife right there:cool:

A yellow bone "Day's Work" for me...

That's beautiful, Paul! (The sunset looks pretty good, too. :D)

How do you like that AG Russell, Bob? I got one for a gift last year and was really surprised how much I liked it. Ended up buying myself another in yellow. :)

I've had this one in my pocket this weekend.

How's the lock up on that AGR Barlow BigBuscuit ?

Extremely solid. Not even the slightest bit of play. The quality of these AGR Barlow's is amazing. Even more so when you factor in that it's a $38.00 knife. The steel isn't the greatest, but it takes a decent edge. I just don't expect that it'll hold that edge long under continuous use. I haven't had it long enough to really say though. This one was a gift from another BF member. Thank you Kyle. It does have a very smooth walk and although it has a light pull, it still sounds off with a nice snap. Someone with more dexterous hands than mine could probably open it one handed. I can if I wrestle with it a bit. It also has a hollow ground bade.
Thanks Paul and Barrett. I like it quite nicely. :D

Paul, that Day's Work TC is a bright spot on a dreary New England day here. Between the weather and our team loosing today, those yellow bone covers sure do brighten things up. :D

How thick is that 302? I've always feared buying one and then saying "So what? A stockman with two missing blades?" Like I did when I got my Boker stockman with one missing blade. I glued that Boker shield in crooked by accident.

It''s pretty slender about .0380 about 5/16" at the widest, definitely not a Stockman minus 2 blades, in fact very well done with a 2 3/4' blade if you measure tip to bolster, tier hollow grind is an excellent compromise between strength and good slicin' ability. If you have an opportunity to get one I would recommend it they're a bit over $20 on line if you look a little but well worth the price.

Here it is with last years forum knife the CSC Serpentine Jack which is at least 30% thicker than the Buck.

Aias: LOVE that Cattaraugus! Never seen one rehandled like that. You do that yourself or somebody else? What is the handle material?

I've got an original 225Q with the stacked leather handle in good shape. Yours has me wanting another to modify!

It's micarta, done by another; he is a member here, but I don't think he is a listed service provider. Send me an email, and I'll be glad to share the details. I love that knife.
