Back in the saddle again with my ebony #14.

Great minds think alike Paul. I like that old Kabar. They make a great blade combo, and carry nicely when I'm walking my dog. :D

Speaking of your dog Chocolate, I'm glad he's doing better, Nanc thought it was crazy you naming him that because he ate that Hershey bar off your counter:eek: chocolate can be pretty bad for dogs, he's apparently tough though:thumbup:

Post pictures of that Utica once you make the new spring for it brother:cool::thumbup:

A "Biscuitized" Wharncliffe Trapper. ;) :D

I like that mod a lot Bob:cool::thumbup:

I really like that modification, Bob. I find a straight edge secondary a lot more useful than a long spey.

Case Teardrop and Keen Kutter rehandled by Markesharp.

Thanks Rachel. I'm the same with regards to a straight edge secondary. I like your Case teardrop, but that candle tip Keen Kutter is a very attractive knife. Nice!

It has been a very busy day today so please pardon me for posting some previously used photos of what I am carrying today . I have been retired for 15 years and I do not know when I had time to go to work .

I'm spilling the beans Gev

Gev sent me this Utica curved tang stamp circa 1916 bear end jack with a broken main spring as you can see. The picked bone is awesome and the main blade looks like it was hardly used. There is some light pitting but I made a new back spring and it will be a nice knife when it's complete. Thank you Gev!

I am going to carry one of the ones you sent me in honor of you bringing the old Utica back to life. Thank you, Sir:D:D

Today I carried a Vic Pioneer along with a Kinfolks K 380. I don't usually carry a fixed blade but I carried this one today to show some friends how an older knife can be fixed up.

It's an impressive fixed blade Ken

Harrison Fisher Crown Pen and a TC Ancient for me today :)

I am right there with Paul and Kogato, I have been looking for a single 48 for a little bit now, but this has me rethinking that.

Is that a small swedge added too?
Nice work.

That's an insightful way of putting it Harry. Funny how much yard work, house work, and projects get put behind over the years when you were working. Glad you're keeping busy! I have a long way till retirement but I can already see what I'll be doing with my days. Nice 77's as well!!

Congrats on the 77's Harry!

I totally relate to this statement. I'm retired 5 years now and most days I'm busier then a one armed paper hanger.

Ohta Wharncliffe Trapper with me today. 3.5", ATS-34 and some very nice stag.

Great pic and knife Brett

This guy has been pretty much it lately. I might carry something else for half a day but this guy always finds its way into my pocket.
