What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Headed out for a hike with my malamute, Cleo, today. These two fine knives are with me,

J.S. Karl Andersen take-down bowie in some beautiful cross-hatched California walnut and 5 bar turkish twist blade. It is very difficult to forge the 5 bars into the tip, Karl did a great job. David Seward made the stunning sheath. More pics here

Just received my first 85 two bladed eo.

The knife is a true work of art! (IMO). Some I put in the safe but this one is going in my pocket.

Enjoy the children and the fall weather

Thanks Jerry, J.S stamp at M.S. quality, if you ask me. Thanks for noticing and I always appreciate your comments. I don't carry it too often, but I do, like all my knives.

Always enjoy seeing your beautiful knives Kris. Here's a new one for me, 3.5" version, stovepipe kick on the main, D2 and Remington bone.

Marbles China (RR) #359 sowbelly in ram's horn. This might be my favorite of all sowbelly patterns, as it's 3¾" closed (an eighth inch shorter than both Queen and Case), and slimmer as well.

In the spirit of BladeForums, I carried my 2016 Forum knife - which started out with a problem but is getting better and better. :) On the hike this morning.

I'm way behind on this thread!

GT! I'll miss your daily entertainment in this thread and seeing the 75 knives you daily carry! :p

Great knives, Kris! That Bowie is outstanding!

I love that corset shield, Brett. I've got a custom knife in mind that a corset shield would be perfect on.

I had my Beagle and a Peanut on the jobsite with me today.
