What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm afraid I've been out of the loop for a while, I hope everyone is doing well. The ever-reliable GEC 22 has been my faithful companion these past few months.

I like these.

Today was old yeller and a beagle.... I prepped supper in my temp kitchen an realized I needed to touch up the beagle.... then I oiled the joints with some mineral oil.

Thanks, Gev. It was a faithful daily companion last winter and will do such duty again this year.

Your Empire is gorgeous!:thumbup: Ebony I assume; what's the length?

Yes ebony and it's 3.25 inches closed. Great snap and no wobble! Don't let your cousins husband see you knife he might want to test it for wobble ;:eek::grumpy::grumpy:

Gev Beautiful knife! That watch matches it in pulchritude too :D:cool: Very sizeable winder on that timepiece, real quality.

Regards, Will

Thank you kind Sir! The old art deco watches kill me every time. Even thought the Benrus pieces were made for the "common man" and moderately priced in the day, I find them to be wonderfully made and quite sound mechanically. The crown is original as far as I can tell.

I bet that Stag put a skip in your step, Ron!:thumbup: Awesome piece!

That's some beautiful stag Ron

That thing is awesome.

Now that's a knife !!!!

Harry

Thank you all for the compliments! I do enjoy this knife! I think it has a lot of character and you have convinced me to carry it again on Tuesday.:D

Coincidentally, I took my ebony Presidential out of mothballs today. Blue jean weather has returned and so the Pres is in the pocket once again.

Dean, I do love that Presidential and your photo has such a classic look! Well done my friend.:thumbup:

Gevonovich, that Ebony Empire is awesome! :) The photo with that old Benrus has such a timeless look to it. No pun intended.:D

Harry, my friend, that's a pair that is hard to beat. Nothing wrong with those pictures either!:D

Still in Idaho, carrying a SAK Huntsman, Old Timer 6OT (US made) and a SAK "Signature"; basically a Classic with a retractable ballpoint pen in the pile side cover.

Old friend I hadn't had out for ages started the day, and then a new friend joined in for the rest of the day.

1985 Remington, and a 2014 Case. 😎
