Great Eastern # 66 Tidioute Calf Roper in Ebony serial #15. I am not big fan of stockman-pattern but GEC calf roper is one heck of an knife. One of my favourites.

Went back to my little RR stockman today. I used to call this a dogleg stockman, but now I think it is more of a reverse Eureka frame.

Great looking knife.

Thank you, Mike! :)

It looks like a Eureka to me. Here's a photo of my Henry Sears & Son 1865 for comparison. I don't have much experience with RR but that's a cool looking knife! Is it two spring?

Agreed Wali, Jason...that is one very nice knife there

I agree with Wali and Duncan. :)

Guys...those Henry Sears are just lovely knives.....I must keep my eyes open for them!
Im carrying my John Lloyd today-sweet knife-very light, lovely to handle...

Yes, Jake, two springs on the RR, with brass liners between and on both sides of the springs. 3-3/8" closed length.

There's been a nice group of knives posted since I've been here. I carried my latest acquisition - a stag Case peanut today.

Yesterday was the sowbelly experiment:

And the first of the week, I carried my favorite small knife, the mini copperhead that Mack lured me into:

It's been a good week. :)
