What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today is my horn handled Laguiole sittin' on the horn sheath my grandfather made in Hungary 80+ years ago, he kept his sharpening stone and a Gerlach Pruner that he used while workin' on the communal farms back then.

On Love for the Lambsfoot Day I'm carrying the one that got me hooked on the pattern.

Amazing Ted, really good to see that sheath

Well done everyone! Great knives! Great pictures!

I've been away for a week so I have lots of catching up to do.

Thanks for the comment on my last post Gary.

Nice looking knife T.Erdelyi. It just so happens I'm carrying this one today.

A Rossignol Laguiole and a GAK.

Have a good one!

Carried this Case Smooth Chestnut Bone Mini Copperlock while hunting this past weekend and am still carrying it today.

Thanks Erik and Clay. It's already got some beauty marks from carrying and using it. Should look pretty good in a few years lol.

Erik, do you use your mini cooper lock for processing game as well?
They are great little kickbacks!

I did not. I wasn't fortunate enough to even see a deer this past weekend. I use a fixed blade Buck Vanguard 192 to dress my deer. I agree the mini copperlocks are great little lock backs though!

Again today I'm carrying the Gun Scout and the Osage Orange Coyote. I'm enjoying the contrast between the two different colors of wood.

This at mail call today. I absolutely love it...now if I can just convince myself to keep it!

Clay

It's a good lookin' Jack Clay, give it a chance, it's a modern take on one of the earliest patterns and it's still popular for a reason. Someday I'll get me one, doubtful if it'll be soon :( but at least I have a few old ones from other older companies. Like this one for example, it's about 80 years old rode hard and put away wet before I got it but with a little TLC and maintenance it'll last at least another 80. :)

Get a slip sheath for it and carry it around awhile, I bet you fall in love with it and if you don't it'll be lightly carried and an easy resell. I really believe if you carry it you'll keep carryin' it. :)
