Thanks, Shawn; I think someone posted a Case peanut recently that had impressive checkered bone similar to that on my RR canoe. Good wood you selected for Wednesday! (Sheesh! Didn't realize I'm at least 2 days behind again.I love seeing all these SBJs! Looking good, GT, and add me to the +1 list for that checkered bone canoe! Gorgeous!
I've got my Antique River Log Peanut and Ebony 14 on me for Wooden Wednesday.

Dean, I do have a lot of canoes, but I'm quite sure it's still fewer than the number of stockman knives you have!
The lambsfoot thread has been especially informative and fascinating to me lately, with thought-provoking "plot twists" just when I think I'm kind of understanding form and history!
Congrats on your walnut Rogers jigged bone stockman, Will! Glad to hear that if finally arrived safely and matched your expectations!...
My Walnut Bone CASE Stockman FINALLY arrived here in Europe safe&sound after a tiresomely long trip from the US (sent on 14th October, held up in Chicago for ages...:grumpyI can't post meaningful pix as it's really dark here most of the day now so I wanted to live off your pix. This is a really well put together small stockman , sunk joints, tight construction, fine bone and nice Equal End frame. It's like a 3 blade Pen Knife, won't weigh you down. Extremely pleased with it.

Thanks, Will

Looking good, Greg! Bone Barlows are beauties, but delrin is dandy, too IMHO!...
Today, inspired by the wonderful Camillus Barlows shown recently by Dean and Ron, I'm carrying my sawcut delrin model:

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone. The weekend is nearly here.
"Many a teardrop will fall, but it's all in the game." Nice knife, Rachel, and the bone stag is a bonus!
I like the looks of that Rough Rider whittler, scattershot! This little whittler has been in my pocket since I won it in a GAW here a couple months ago. I love this little thing, and it's found a permanent home.[/IMG]![]()
Congrats on that dreamboat Barlow, Paul!!Thank you MJ, the tang stamp puts it from 1017-1946.

Sensational stag congress, Ernie!:thumbup: Enjoy your week off; shoot, I hope everyone has an unforgettable Thanksgiving holiday next week!
I know it's a common working knife, but I think those old electricians look VERY elegant, especially that particular model Camillus (I hope I identified that correctly). Good one, Cambertree!
Recurring themes, recurring:

The lambsfoot thread has been especially informative and fascinating to me lately, with thought-provoking "plot twists" just when I think I'm kind of understanding form and history! Was it by design that you've gone with a spearpoint/lambsfoot pairing two days in a row? Definitely a tasteful tetrad!

Paulhilborn, amazing barlow!
Emspop, great knife. I'd love to see more 30x knives in bone and horn.
SHAPLEIGH HDW CO D-E
Oh No! I have Shapleigh envy!! Have I seen that gor-g-ous knife before? Perhaps in my dreams. Top notch, Gev, top notch.:thumbup:
Yes, I have shown it before, Dean. It was well loved and used hard but it still deserves some time in the November sun walking in high cottonThank you for the fine compliment Sir!!
I bet its walked a thousand miles, pickin cotton and pushin plows, and learning how to whittle along the waywhat -huh

You've inspired this madness where I spent a week searching for the perfect blue handled knife and didn't find exactly what I wanted. So now, I'm beseeching the makers...
My favorite color isn't even blue. It's red. And I think that some of the green burl that I've seen is actually more striking than the blue burls. But no. Has to be blue burl. Has to be 3/32" or thinner blade stock. Has to be full flat or convex grind, no scandi, no saber, none of it. And when it happens, we will rejoice in glory.
Today, as I do most days, I'm carrying this cocobolo moose with modified spear to sheep blade and convexed edges:
