Great pic of a sweet knife Gev

Hi all, been a while since I visited the porch. Hope everyone is doing well and wish a happy holiday season to all. [/IMG]

Great to see you here Duane

What a knife that Ancient is!

Shawn & Jack, thanks for showing off a quartet of wonderful wood-handled knives!

Thanks pal

I can't stay silent on that lovely Lambsfoot ;)

2013 #23, and Case mini lockback copperhead...the case has the amber bone with peachseed jigging, but I dyed the bone with a mix black coffee and Taupe rit dye.

What a pair and man o man what a looker in that copperhead...great job on it!!

An older picture , but this is what I carry almost every day as some of you know

Harry

I always love that stag beauty!

Hi all, been a while since I visited the porch. Hope everyone is doing well and wish a happy holiday season to all. This toothpick has been in my pocket everyday as my only carry knife for quite some time now, funny how that just kind of happened...

keep 'em sharp! :)

Great to see you Duane!! Happy Holidays to you!! Your faithful toothpick is looking great!

Killer photograph and pocket full of goodness. The watch is so cool and that Ancient looks well loved. Man they look better the more they are used:thumbup:

Great pic of a sweet knife Gev

Your Haywood gets me every time. Makes me think of Rita Hayworth and pin-up art on the fuselage of a B-25 ( a little Freudian......but she and my mother looked like twins when they were young )

And then the mail came , and these are now in my pockets . My first Case Peanut and my first Case Seahorse Whittler . Both in Rogers Jigged Walnut Bone .

The inside lighting does not show the colors correctly very well in the photos , but the colors from Mark to Pile and on each knife is very well matched. CK must have sorted me out a matched set . LOL
Extremely happy with the pair.

Very nice additions, Harry! A great pairing!

Brett - Your Galvanic Eureka is a timeless beauty my friend!

Good-looking Barlow and a beautiful iris. Can't believe it bloomed in November! I transplanted a bunch of iris bulbs from my parent's yard in Middle Tenn, but they just haven't done well here in my area...too much clay in the soil maybe.

Thanks for the compliment. :) This was taken in Mt Juliet which is near Nashville.

Crouching Spider ( ;))

Harry - Two great pairs of knives there today! Choices, choices, somehow I knew you wanted you a Seahorse Whittler!:D

I have the 79 Workhorse in Ebony again today. :D

Harry
Those two have to bring a smile to your face. The Seahorse is one I've always admired

Thank you Gevo and John !!! Much appreciated my friends .
Yes Gevo , I have a very big smile on my face from this pair . I had seen some guys were not happy with color matches from side to side , But I got color match side to side and knife to knife . I have ALWAYS ADMIRED the old Case Dark Red Jigged Bone that Merry Mad Monk ( Al ) and others had shown and this jigging pattern and color reminds me of it . Not the same , but nice to me none the less .

Thanks to you too Ron !!! Yes , you enabled me my friend !! Never had one , but needed to have one in the collection. Was a good time to get a matched color pair .

Cold, rainy day by me today, so that pic is a real pick-me-up; thanks, StoneBeard! I've admired your buffalo covers before, but now I taken with the serious patina you've developed on that lambsfoot blade!

I hope everyone has a blessed, gratitude-filled Thanksgiving Day! :)

Great picture and knife:thumbup:

Thanks! Neither can I. Such a great little knife. There are definitely more lambsfoot blades in my future! :D

That's a bright future :)

Just calling in here as I fly out the door to go for a walk, with these two in my pocket. Have a great weekend everyone

Gev's Swell Centre thread inspired me to get out a prized Queen Cutlery today. No.48 Whittler in D2 steel and WCSB slabs. The snow has gone again but it's dark 18 hours and rising fast now...
