Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I brined our turkey and smoked it on pecan for 4.5 hrs in the BGE. These two are with me today,

Beretta Loveless drop point and a Boker

I've been slow in posting lately and haven't done so since page 5456. That being said, Great Knives Everyone!

Thanks for the comments Gev, Paul and Gary.

Today I'm going with Case 31048 and a Vic Cadet. Thanks Primble.

Have a good one!

Ive let this thread get way away from me, so I'm not even going to attempt to multi quote the highlights. There would be way to many!
The peanut is still going strong. I also added some bocote and oak to the mix for wooden Wednesday.

How did your 110 get a patina?

Hi all, been a while since I visited the porch. Hope everyone is doing well and wish a happy holiday season to all. This toothpick has been in my pocket everyday as my only carry knife for quite some time now, funny how that just kind of happened...

Beautiful knife thunderdaddy! Are the covers Antique yellow? Or maybe burnt orange? Just curious whatever they are there very cool.:D

Vance am liking your Camillus military 1966, will have to add one to the scout collection:thumbup::thumbup:

2013 #23, and Case mini lockback copperhead...the case has the amber bone with peachseed jigging, but I dyed the bone with a mix black coffee and Taupe rit dye.

An old friend for the past few weeks now... the #55 in Autumn Gold. This was my very first (since my Cub Scout knife in the early 70's) traditional pocket knife. I got this one in June 2013 and it's the one that began the madness! :D
...
I had the new 55 with me again today.

New or older, those 55s look great, Jeff & Jon! Jeff, I agree that it's good to get back to your first knife now and then.

...
Gary, Thank you for the compliment my friend. Wonderful knives, I really like the LF&C:cool:
Thanks, Gary. I like that L.F.& C.! Have a happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the LF&C comments, Paul & Dean. It's a little old knife, for sure, and I worry about the celluloid covers sometimes, but I like it a lot too. :)

I have been fortunate to acquire a few knives this year that I never thought I could. This being tops among them. I'm very grateful to the member (and friend) that made it happen.

Congrats, Mike!!:thumbup: I think that particular version of the TC Barlows is a grail for many of us (to me, the only thing better would be the 2-blade version).

I was up early this morning enjoying my coffee and reflecting on all the many things I have to be thankful for. Pam and I are spending Thanksgiving with our daughter. I decided to step out back on the patio and check out the weather where I found a wonderful surprise. A single Iris has survived to share its beauty on Thanksgiving morning. The Iris is the state flower of Tennessee. May God bless all my friends here on the Porch and I pray that each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)

Thanks, and same to you, Ron! Sublime photo of iris and knife!

I wanted to stop by and wish my good blade friends a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
While my interest in buying knives has slackened lately, I am still very fond of many that I already have, including this Catt.
Have a great day everyone. :)

Getting ready to head out to a large extended family Thanksgiving dinner and the wife tells me to dress nice...hope this will be ok?!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you and yours have a splendid day with one another.

Clay
Very dressy, indeed! That's a great little herd of Bucks there!
Thank you. They have become my passion/obsession. Something fun about searching for and collecting variations of your favorite knife.
Clay
VERY nice, Clay! That's an impressive variety of "humble" Buck 303s!!

Im not sure if it's possible to carry to many pocket knives, but I'm surely pushing the limits today.
Each knife is paired with other pocket companions that fill my slacks every day.
First, the peanut and my no frills pen and note pad.

Also on my person, the buck 110 and leatherman.
Cool photos! It's like Erik's Greatest Hits of Cutlery! :D:thumbup:

A Thanksgiving knife.

Always enjoy seeing your Presidential(s), Dean! Both yours and Erik's are comforting sights to see on The Porch!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Same to you, TK (although I'm a day late)! Awesome SBJr!

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! I had a pair of ebony beauties on me for Turkey Day.

Carrying these two today, by Joseph Haywood and Arthur Wright :)

Shawn & Jack, thanks for showing off a quartet of wonderful wood-handled knives!

Hey, someone else came home for the holiday! ;) Great to see you and your iconic toothpick here again, Duane!

All I have left to show from this week's carry are the ones I carry EVERY week. I suppose many of you get sick of seeing these, but I don't!:D
