Interesting Buck 303, Clay; I don't think I've ever seen one with that blade etch. :cool: Is there something unusual about it?

I just love your dog knife!
As for the gray Buck it is from their " workman " series from the early 90's ( mines 92'). I read a quote from CJ Buck once explaining that the Workman was a marketing tool to get their knives placed in two sections of hardware stores the knife case and the cutting tool isles and allow a Buck presence in the newly arriving at the time Home Improvement stores that didn't have knife displays/sporting goods.
They had completely different packaging and marketing but pure Buck thru and thru
