I love dark rich color Primble!
I'm running late tonight but I have scanned over today's postings. Some mighty fine Traditionals by everyone! I had this improved 48 with me today.

That's a beauty Ron!

I love that Freemont! Exquisite!

Thank you John! I am carrying it again today.

Primitive Bone 66 Calf Roper which is definitely heavier and more solid feeling than the ebony version.

Terrific knives everyone!

It's been pouring out for the past couple of days and I was too slack to go outside to take pictures. It's much nicer out today.

Today I'm carrying a PAL Cutlery Co. and a Vic Hiker.

Have a good one!

When my dad passed some time ago, I ended up going through his knife drawer as we were getting all of his affairs squared away. My dad liked to buy a knife and use it until it failed/broke and when it did, he would toss it in the drawer, never to see daylight again. Amidst all of the old, worn Schrades, Bucks, and cheap hardware store specials, I found this little guy, amazingly still intact. A Frontier by Imperial Ireland, nothing fancy or valuable but it was his. I carry it with me every single day and though I do not use it for much of anything besides reaming my pipe now and then, it still serves as a little piece of my dad that I get to keep with me every where I go.

Nice little story. Sometimes the best knife is just a simple one that has a special meaning.

That is the most valuable knife that you will ever own my friend. Enjoy it and pass it down .

Very nice! I imagine you smile every time you notice it in your pocket!

Thanks guys, it is indeed a special knife. I can only hope that when my time comes, that my boy will find something equally as special in my knife drawer (or closet at that point...) I became more of a knife nut than my dad had ever expected I'm sure... :D
