Long few days and time to hit the hay, this one in my pocket today.
Is that poetry, StoneBeard?? Certainly a poetic knife!
...
Gary, Thank you as well. I admire the time you take to post on the daily carries of members here and your weekly carries:thumbup:
Thanks, Paul. I appreciate you writing that.
...

Sorry, but I don't have a BoneStag ballpoint to go with today's carry.
That looks better every time I see it, r8shell!
...
That it is, GT!
Hope you're enjoying the scenery as much as I am . That is quite the view

.
If you're referring to the scenery in the shot of my Imperial toothpick, I'm enjoying the memories; that's a vacation pic from a couple of summers ago.
Thanks, Gary. Nice toothpick and nautical theme!
...
Today's carry. I think this is my favorite Camillus. One of those knives whose history I dream about. Maybe it was carried by one of our WWII soldiers; maybe the son back home cherished this knife from Dad while Dad was off to war or maybe it was a Christmas present from money scraped together during the wartime shortages. Who knows?
Thanks, Dean. Your Tip Top 2-blade Barlow is superb!
Tremendous twosome, JSCHENK!
Böker Beer Barrel Whittler this week.
Roll out the barrel!!

That whittler looks incredible!
All this yeller lately inspired me!
Clay
I'm enjoying your stunning variety of Buck 303s, Clay!
...
Now a Ruple Queen Sowbelly
Sumptuous sowbelly, sir!

When my dad passed some time ago, I ended up going through his knife drawer as we were getting all of his affairs squared away. My dad liked to buy a knife and use it until it failed/broke and when it did, he would toss it in the drawer, never to see daylight again. Amidst all of the old, worn Schrades, Bucks, and cheap hardware store specials, I found this little guy, amazingly still intact. A Frontier by Imperial Ireland, nothing fancy or valuable but it was his. I carry it with me every single day and though I do not use it for much of anything besides reaming my pipe now and then, it still serves as a little piece of my dad that I get to keep with me every where I go.
Welcome to The Porch, Padruig! Thanks for sharing that story of the fine memento you found!
These three are with me today,
Joel Chamblin whittler, Rick Menefee trapper and a fixed blade from Salem Straub with a Paul Long sheath
Always a thrill to see that Chamblin whittler, Kris!
My internet service provider are having 'technical problems', which have denied me access all day. I'm useless on my phone, but just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Today is Stan Shaw's 90th birthday. Many Happy Returns to him
Unbelievable that someone is turning out such high-quality work at that age, Jack!

 My productivity is al ready declining and I'm still a quarter-century from 90!
...
Carried these two today
...
Those knives make a very handsome couple, Erik!
Here ya go Erik. It's a "modified" stockman. Replaces the sheep and spey with another setup like this wharncliffe and zulu pen. It creates a nice low riding blade setup.
...
Amazing knife, Jake!
The last of the knives I'm carrying this week.
A Holub electrician (thanks, Dave):
A Rough Rider half whittler:
As always, I also carried a Vic Minichamp, a chestnut bone Sodbuster Jr, and a scrimshawed Rough Rider small stockman, but I won't post pics this week.
In the kitchen this week, I had this Marbles leg knife (among others):
