No sign of my home internet connection getting fixed
...

I have my Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot with me again today, took some new pics yesterday, but I don't want to upload them with my precarious data situation

Sorry to hear that your home internet problems continue. :(

Looking forward to seeing those new pics when you're able. In the mean time, I'm very happy to keep looking at both of those.

My weekend whimsy has turned to stockman knives I've received from BF members.

Ganzo

That's quite a collection of gifted stockman knives, GT. I found the Ganzo particularly interesting. I'd never heard of it before.

This TC Ebony Spearpoint again today....... :D

Beautiful knife and photo, Ron. There's something about the light that makes me think a gentle snow is about to fall.

I'm also opting for a TC spearpoint today.

These little guys today for dress-up : Case Peanut in Rogers Jigged Walnut Bone and Northfield 18 in Natural Stag

Just picked this Robeson up off the 'bay. I think it is 1940 - 1964 era. It was about $17 delivered. There is a slight recurve area on the main blade. It was rusty. The pen blade doesn't close all the way so I'm going to try and file the kick down. But I really like my first vintage Robeson. Sorry for the bathroom sink pics.

It's been awhile since I've sat down on the porch...kicking my feet up and enjoying some traditional eye candy. I've had this BS in my pocket for a week or two. The Beer Scout pattern is what turned my head to traditional knives 1 year ago. I acquired 11 GECs since then, patiently waiting for the new release of the Beer Scouts. I have a Beer Barrel Oak on the way. This BS in jigged bone has not disappointed.

Thanks! It's really much nicer than I was expecting. The other blades are pen and coping. I believe it's a 2003 model. The fit and finish are absolutely perfect. This is my second Case and I am very impressed with the quality. I've got three more Case knives on order :)
Thanks for the blade info, John. It's great to hear how happy you are with the knife, and here's hoping the 3 incoming ones please you at least as much!

Gary - Thanks, I am glad I was able to improve your weekend! :D Your Ganzo looks very similar in appearance to current production Buck offerings. A great looking stockman!

Fantastic ebony TC, Ron! I agree with your observation about the Ganzo stockman; it's almost identical to my Chines Buck 373 Trio (which is itself inspired by the USA Buck 303).

Thanks, Greg. More of that collection appear at the end of this post. That little yellow TC Barlow is looking good! (I don't recognize the background puzzle; is that some 21st century update of the venerable crossword puzzle?)

Hootchie Mama!:thumbup: That is an outstanding knife!

Welcome to The Porch, bsprouse27! :) Looks like you're doing fine; that's quite a handful of impressive cutlery!

Here are more of my gift stockmen that I've been enjoying this weekend. The generosity around here is epidemic!
