I've fallen WAY behind in posting my admiration of what you all are totin' this week.
But a snowy Saturday evening seems like the perfect time to try to catch up at least a little. (May take me a couple of posts, though, given the BF limit on images per post.
)

I also enjoy seeing the Old Timer Barlow again, along with Prince Albert in a can.

And I also am taken with Case's other models in chestnut jigged bone and CV: I have a peanut and swayback jack, and a sowbelly stockman.

). That photo of your shows a quintet of quintessential pocketknife quality!

And I reacted very similar to Harry, thinking that's the color I'd be if exposed to your temps for very long!
I'm impressed that you're willing to adapt internationally on your weather updates!
) pair again, Jack!
More to come later!

Thanks, Jack, for the Winchester comment. And that IXL looks better to me each time you post it; I'm really taken with its jigging!
Belated thanks for the Northwoods whittler info, Ron, and for the compliments about my Winchester that I posted MUCH earlier this week. Your ebony Talon is darkly dapper!...
Gary the Whittler is a single spring. It is built on the 38 frame from GEC. Thank you.Your Winchester is a beautiful pattern and you have captured it in a great photo!

Thanks for the kind Winchester words, Dean; I don't think I realized you had one! I DO realize that you have many knives with compelling spearpoint blades, and that Heritage jack is one of them!
I also enjoy seeing the Old Timer Barlow again, along with Prince Albert in a can.
I think I could probably look at a LOT of pics of that knife, since I've carried one just like it EVERY day since January 2015!... Case does a fine job on its chestnut bone; I've got two others as well (peanut and swayback jack).
Nope, still the same old breathtaking, eye-popping, heart-stopping knife, Jake! :thumbup:Nothing new here!

Styling with that beauty!! I have so many red Vics but someday I will break down and get an Alox just to see what all the love is about
...
Thanks for your comment on my Winchester, Gev. I think you definitely should try an Alox Vic (but be aware that many of us find them habit-forming
