Since it's Saturday and I'm headed out to hike the woods, I'm taking this too:

Quite a unique and traditional pocketknife, this.. She's stamped, 'Marshall Wells Hardware Company'.. Old Ebony scales, pinned nickle silver shield, half stops on both the main blade and the punch.. And her snap open and close is extraordinarily hard & loud with a fine echo. Has great blade geometry on her super sharp hi-carbon steel as well.. I rescued this old gal a ways back just in the nick of time from a fellow who had intended her to be headed off to the scrap heap.. She is a wonderful cutt'n tool with lots of character to have laying in the right front watch pocket of my wranglers!
