Thank you, Travis, that's very kind. There's no particular system. I normally have a look at the knives I've got in the current carry rotation the evening before and pick one out that seems appropriate for the weather, clothing, intended activity or just my mood that day.
(I do tend to try to go lighter during the dog days of summer but exceptions are made frequently just because.)

Couldn't make up my mind....but ending up carrying Jose Jalomo's single blade stockman and a stag Tommy Gann

You know it might be fun to have a thread with a poll that let's the folks choose your knives for a week. You list them, we choose 'em and you get to carry the top 5 that week that we chose. It would be the "What should Elliott stick in his pocket this week" poll topic.

Carrying the KH serpentine trapper today. It still blows me away every time I take it out. Wonderful action. I can slice the wings off a fly with with the thin sharp blade.

This week it's been a Case Russlock with G-10 scales. I also rotate a Rosewood too. I also have a Drop Point Russlock, but I don't carry it simply because I've only ever seen two.

I carry a boker trapper with a washboard bone handle and an old camillus black synthetic handle electricians knife daily. But when i go hunting, i carry a silver stag crown series big game gutter. "wow" what a knife that is, 9 deer and still razor sharp.

I've been carryin' this Imperial Stockman for the last few days, it's an earlier 40s/50s version with real celluloid scales and NS bolster and shield, something ya don't usually associate with Imperial.
