What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Almost to nice to carry (no matter how thick the sheath), but who doesn't like a bit of pocket jewelry from time to time.

Always a treat to see the Ancient, Dean! The coin is so choice. I had to look it up :D

Nothing but candy from you, my friend:D

Why can't I get the words out of my head

Sugar, ah honey honey
You are my candy girl
And you've got me wanting you

Live thy Life,
Young and old,
Like yon oak,
Bright in spring,
Living gold;

Summer-rich
Then; and then
Autumn-changed
Soberer-hued
Gold again.

All his leaves
Fall'n at length,
Look, he stands,
Trunk and bough
Naked strength.

Alfred Lord Tennyson

Thanks Jack, great looking stag on that Shaw. I have had the Crowder for about 4 years.

These two are with me today,

Tim Steingass drop point in ladder pattern damascus, from Randy Haas Jr., and some gorgeous Koa handles, Claude Scott sheath with elephant inlay; slipjoint by M.S. Jon Christensen, 4500 year old bog oak and Jon's mosaic damascus

Gevo Thanks for sharing Mr. Tennyson's poetry! Where do you you keep finding these awesome old knives?! You must have a bigger Rabbit hole than Primble

Love the Steel bolsters and end caps, and the bone jigging, and the shield and.......well you get the picture. Just awesome! :D

Thanks my friend! I found the old gem years ago and thought it needed to come out and show it's naked strength ;) Picture of my favorite tree taken last weekend in it's naked strength, hence the poem. Primble's rabbit hole is far bigger and stocked with more gold then mine...where is our old friend...I need a fix :D

Okay, okay, you've talked me into Jack! I'll take these two. Paypal info, please. ;) :D

Jaw-dropping pair, Dee!

Peerless pair of aces, Dee! (Hope you’re dealing from a double deck!)

You're the epitome of "if you stay ready, you don't have to get ready". :D

My ancient has been in and out of my pocket over the last week.

Great Knife & Cool Coin, Dean!

Sweet Whittler Dee!

Your telling me :eek: Sweet  This one must go in The Wonderous Whittler thread ;);)

Thanks fellas!

Sure thing, Gev. :)

That Witness is a classy looking penknife, Jack.

Thanks Dean, always great to see your Ancient :)

Good stuff Gev :)

LOL! Sorry pal! :D

Friday! :) My giveaway thread has gone even better than I'd hoped, really grateful for all the contributions :) I thought I'd better carry MY Oxhorn Lambsfoot today (and really, the giveaway Lambsfoot is better)! Along with the BF forum knife from a couple of years back. Hope everyone has a great Friday, and an even better weekend

Nice pics of nice knives today everyone!
I've got this one with me today. The nice belt sheath was made by Gary Graley.

I was floored when I saw this one, Dee! That is the perfect pocketknife for when one is stepping out - a whittler with a gold dog's head. And it is definitely pocket jewelry!:thumbup:

And thank you for your comments on my ancient(s).

Always a treat to see the Ancient, Dean! The coin is so choice. I had to look it up :D

Thank you, Gev! The scratted is a classic at a young age. And large cents are one of my long time passions

You are a man of poetry
No longer of depth unexpected.
A turn of phrase
A remembered poem
Are yours at once remembered!

Your Walden has superb none.

Thanks Dean, always great to see your Ancient :)

Thanks, Jack. Your forum knife and JB sheath make a great combo.
