Thanks Alan. I find it being my "go to" daily carry very often. No disappointments whatsoever.

I'm glad you're liking it so much.
I saw one on the vast wasteland auction site. But it was gone before I could pull the trigger. Sold my case/Bose cattle knife. It just did not do it for me.

They do tend to go quick Alan. I found the cattle knife to be a marvelous construction, but for some reason it just felt too "chunky" in my pocket.

Same for me. Very nicely made, but for me chunky and too hard of a pull.

There is a Damascus model at the Case outlet online, but for reason the Damascus blades and the bone on that one don't appeal to me. Especially at Case full retail!

Thank you very much on the comments on the Stag . They really did do a fine job on the Stag when they cut it into slabs. I just measured the max. handle thickness at .68 inch and the valley on the Pile side is over 1/32 deep but not quite that deep on the Mark side. Thanks again my friend .

Thank you also Alan : We have had a couple of beautiful days in a row of sun and high 50's to mid 60's with some more forecast .

Agreed; GEC's stag is quite beautiful. I've come to appreciate it more and more. I'd love to pick up a Randalls with a stag handle--they too do an excellent job with selections and finish. Here is my one and only stag--a GEC #42. I had my wife's name engraved on one of the bolsters; the other bolster bears the #6... she was born on the 6th (Sept). Thanks for sharing my friend!

John Primble Congress pattern, I've sanded down and polished the spines of the blades so they are now rounded and quite smooth, as well as setting some swedges on the blades as well, feels nicer in use with those smooth and rounded spines

Thanks so much Harry--no, not a leftie, it's just the "secondary" blade that's out, shield-side down. That's the drop point blade; the clip point is folded.

Here are a couple of older shots of the other side of her:

Oooh! Smashing IXL :)

I had a nice hike yesterday, but think I'm going to be in the house all day today, trying to catch up. Got my Davison in my pocket though. Have a great Sunday everyone :)

Thanks, Jack!

Beautiful scenery, and a gorgeous knife . What more could you ask for :)?
