Nice pic Dean, and a reminder of another nice knife I should carry more :o ;)
Watchpocket Barlow and HJ9 for me today

Thanks, Jack!

That watch pocket Barlow is a nice looking knife! GEC did a good job on the sawcut bone on those little gems.

Thanks for the marble info, Rachel and Jack. I suspect there's regional variation among marble names. We called some type(s) of marbles "aggies" but I don't think they were the type of marble Rachel referred to. I think we called "the clear ones with the color swirls inside" "cat's eyes", not "mabs"; they were very common in my neck of the woods, and as Jack mentioned, not highly valued.

Your Barlow looks like one of the first signs of spring out on the trail!

a couple of knives that I carry every day. The Minichamp actually came from a previous gun&knife show excursion. The Rough Rider stockman came from r8shell!

Thanks, Gary!

The two marble names I highlighted in your comments is what I remember from my marble days in upstate New York and Michigan. We called the steel ones "steelies" - they were looked down upon as not real marbles. (This is what I remember from my childhood)

Your two EDC knives have become classic favorites to see on the Porch, Gary! Both look useful and the RR stockman is, of course, one of a kind.

Beautiful knife, Gev. I have so little memory of my childhood; I guess I've lost my marbles! :D

I had my scratted Ancient with me today.

Just got this in yesterday and have it with me while I get some work done. Might tag along in the pocket for the next coupld days maybe.

Super cool knife and terrific cat's eyes :D
Thank you. I love these queues de poisson and have just ordered a third one.

My dad's aluminum bin-full of clay marbles is around here somewhere. I'll try to find them before the marbles topic is exhausted.

I've been giving this WW2 Camillus engineer's knife a lot of carry time lately. The blade isn't the fullest, and some of the tools have some play, but there's just something about this beautiful old knife.

The staff at KSF picked a good one for me! They were quite helpful and followed up as well.:thumbup: Thanks so much, Jeff:D

My cat jumped right into that shot and shaded the handle...she's my shadow helper ;) Thank you Sir!
