What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Bill, I've got a few that measure up. But design-wise it's hard to beat the D-D.
As always Gary, thanks. How about a couple of capital knives with a crustacean?

Dang it... like 4 new pages filled with amazing knives since I last checked. The collections you all have impress me every day

I love this Heartland Clip, it has a firm home in my weekly rotation. It came sharp enough right out of the gate for my casual use :)

Excellent specimen!

I don't name most of my knives, but sometimes a name just fits. :D

Yeah, there was a time I had a flat sap called Slippery Jack! :D

Heading out early tomorrow, but decided to hang onto my Davison, with my 66 riding shotgun ;) Have a great weekend everyone

Feeling my age today! :D Hoping these two will put a spring in my step! :D Thanks again for all the good wishes yesterday folks, really meant a lot to me :) Hope everyone has a good Friday, and a great weekend :)

Jack, I feel your pain on that age thing! Just got home from 10 hours on the shop floor! Man that concrete is rough on these old legs and feet! :D That's a great pair of Ebony beauties your Totin! Seeing your Davison makes me think of Stephen as I'm sure it does you as well. Have a good weekend buddy!

Yes, those Black Boxes are dynamite:D

Today the Queen Dogleg gets out. WCSB and D2 Clip/Pen. It's a pity they no longer offer this frame and this quality. Thick scales, no gaps or play, impressive W&T. Every bit as good as any current GEC plus it has endurance tool steel....

Will, I always enjoy seeing that 51J. A terrific pattern, much like the original CASE 6207, which was a wonderful Serpentine Jack pattern, that has evolved into the Mini Trapper.

Wow! Ron. That is some amazing stag on your Clerk.

Thank you Alan! I am pleased with both of my Stag Clerks! :)

Thanks, Ron; the Colt teardrop jack is well-made and certainly has unique jigging. :)
Congrats on the superb new stag Clerk you hired!

Thanks Gary, I appreciate the compliment! :D

Drew that is a lovely 74 Heartland my friend!

Today

Harry

An outstanding pair Harry! Always love that iconic Stag 73! :D

I am finally kicked back enjoying all these beautiful knives my friends have posted today! Now I'm going to enjoy a good meal with my lovely wife and be thankful for my food, my family and my friends. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :D Oh I almost forgot, this 77 NF Barlow has spent this long Friday with me. ;)

Thank you!!

I love denim micarta. Excellent carry.

Thank you sir! The denim micarta is my favorite handle material!

The Fremont looks great! Out of curiosity, though, what's the gizmo at upper right, if I may ask?
Looks like a personalized Zippo lighter.
That's what I'm thinking, but I know from nothing about lighters, so...

Bob is almost right. It's a customized zippo lighter but not really personalized. It's the basic "distressed" version from Wasteland Oddities. They do make special one-off and personalized versions, too!

Sorry, guys. I just had to quote this picture from a few pages back. That 'possum is magnificent. :D

:D :D

"G'mornin', George."
"G'mornin', Willie."

Couple of good looking knives there! Thanks goodness the cat didn't run off with either of those! ;)

Barrett, I'm not always current in my knowledge of mythical beasts, but I didn't realize Sasquatch was native to Northwest Arkansas!:p

There have been rumors about a 'squatch around NWArk, but to be honest, I'm pretty sure they're just the result of some out-of-towner getting a glimpse of a regular old Ozark hillbilly walking through the woods.
