What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you sir. I just realized that photo is not very well focused. I think the camera focused on the railing instead of the knife.

This is better.

This came out just like I wanted it. It's black, linen micarta scales, and the stripes are alternating steel and blue micarta. Tough to make the way Todd makes them. Each insert is pinned.

Man that's nice Alan !!

I love hearing these type of things. :)
Enjoy!

Thanks, Gary!
They truly are..... :)

Nice knives!
A frugal bunch with a lot to offer.

That's a GEM, Alan!
And no, I'm not just saying that because I'm partial to blue.

Thanks, Dean!

The SS makes that one a prime candidate for the terrain.
And it looks good, too.

Looks right at home.

Thanks ! And it does feel right at home there [emoji16]

I didn’t try my arse off but I couldn't get Grandpaws Camillus 72 to slice paper. The 8OT did so with flying colors.

Now I don't know about the St. Louis Weasels, but there's a minor league team back home called the Arkansas Travelers, and a couple years ago they announced a new mascot called (and I'm not kidding here) Otey the Swamp Possum. Here he is in all his stereotypical glory:

Sorry, guys. I just had to quote this picture from a few pages back. That 'possum is magnificent. :D

Stopped at the Point of the Gap at the Delaware Water Gap on my way home from physical therapy today, this is Indian Head rock lookin' at Kittatinny Mountain looking over from NEPA, oh and the 09 Queen/Schatt Morgan Barlow forum knife came along for the ride and a photo op.:)

There are many knives I admire, but not so many I covet. I really wish I'd joined the forum earlier and got myself a 2009 Forum Barlow.

Today I had a classy little Keen Kutter:

Excellent R8shell. Question? Have you coveted any of the recent run of 13's? Just curious..

Covet is a strong word. :D
Probably the Clerk with the wharncliffe/pen. Especially the Office Knife. I'd love to see how the bone ages on that one. :)

Carried the Sodbuster Jr tonight. They're calling for sun and 50° wherever this weekend... but for now we're getting sleet.

Yes, those Black Boxes are dynamite:D

Today the Queen Dogleg gets out. WCSB and D2 Clip/Pen. It's a pity they no longer offer this frame and this quality. Thick scales, no gaps or play, impressive W&T. Every bit as good as any current GEC plus it has endurance tool steel....
