AShearer AShearer ..... you know it! Think I am going to keep this new trend going for a little while :)

joeradza joeradza ...... it was one of my first GEC knives, in fact it was the first one I hunted down and didn't buy new. I have a soft spot for this pattern and I won't admit how many calf ropers I have claimed for the upcoming production ;)

I am forever amazed with how perfect this knife is. Gorgeous jigged bone covers. Authoritative walk with plenty of talk. No horizontal play, yet no blade rub. Backspring is nearly flush in the open position. Awesome D2 steel blade with a wonderfully thin grind. This non-locking Queen Mountain Man is a reference tool for how well a production slipjoint can be made. Easily as good as any GEC I've ever handled, but with better steel. A seriously overlooked model in Queen's line-up.

Alan and Alan both like the idea!

Thanks for the kind words, my friend! Much appreciated. I try to over here more often than I did in the last one and a half year.

Thanks Dean! I am in agreement with you on the Tidioute Slims.

I was carrying my Ebony 92 Talon today. :)

What a sleek, handsome knife. I think the Talon has just made it on the short list, beautiful knife!

This little guy with a delicious new friend!

Love the knife! That style is certainly starting to interest me more. I've been known to appreciate a fine Scotch now and then... Can't say that I have ever had one that has been finished in IPA casks, sounds intriguing.

I'm usually down the market early on a Thursday morning, but I have to wait in for a washing-machine to be delivered, they gave me a "window" of between 7am and 2pm

Hoping to get out at some point with my new Lambsfoot in my pocket

I'm off to see a play in the evening, so going to change over to this small Wragg Penknife

Jack, I do not comment enough on how much I enjoy seeing your lambsfoot knives, that A. Wright is particularly striking though! Hope you enjoy(ed) the play!

This is a real stunner! Handsome little devil.

Here are my carries today. Decided to go "green" for a change. :D Thanks Peregrin Peregrin for turning me on to the maker of the little Wharnie. He made me something quite nice. I will do a full write up soon when I have a bit more time.

that sure is a beauty, I'm not often tempted these days, but that Mountain Man really ticks a lot of boxes!

LOL! :D Thanks Dean, you're very generous

I like your Cadet and cap combo my friend :)

Thank you, Jack.

That is a very attractive Whittler, Dee.

The red Cadet is a mood-raiser any time, but I especially like that cap! I may divert some of my monthly knife budget to a cap budget for a while.

Thanks, Gary! Sounds like a good plan. Knife hats are neat and you can probably wear them in an airport.

I got this Northwoods Hawthorne Jack just before our spring vacation, carried it a lot over the past week. The burlap micarta is really nice!

Wow, unusual and good looking!

In celebration of the spring green, I carried my green TC.

Well, was gonna piddle around outside. Kids still off school. Baby and momma sleeping. But the rain has come. Real turd floater!

Recycled photo of the case/Bose cattle knife. I'm about to reprofile and sharpen it up. Didn't have to when I got it but I've used it enough to need to now so that it touches up on my sharp maker.
