Great pic my friend :)

After all the excitement in Todd Davison's fabulous giveaway thread yesterday, I thought I'd carry my Davison Sheepsfoot :) Congratulations, once again, to Aias for winning, and thanks to Todd, and everyone else who made it fun

Thanks so much Jack. Yeah, that was a wild ride yesterday... still hard to believe I had the lucky post! I was just having so much fun counting/ posting, I was totally taken by surprise when it all came to a halt. My wife thought I was a little crazy... then she heard the incredulous "I won??!!... I WON!!!" And we both looked at each other in astonishment. It was a good morning.

I had such a great time with the posts, the pics, and the humor... and oh, the generosity! This is the best place to hangout on Bladeforums... no doubt!

BTW, today is 26 years of being together for my wife and I; we've been married for nearly 12. Another good morning! I'll take this to be a lucky streak!

It was a lot of fun wasn't it?! :D I love hearing about those sort of spousal exchanges, it's nice that members are able to share this place with their nearest and dearest :) Congratulations on the milestone my friend, that's good to hear :)

At the moment the handle is just a real tight press fit and not permanently affixed in place until I get it exactly where I want it ( those are just small tacks that originally held the ferrule on ) so I was able to add a guard to it.
Currently I like it even more this way.

How will you do the affix it permanently. Epoxy?
Yeah I will probably use epoxy or potentially gorilla glue of which I have 2 bottles, but it's a tighter fit than my file handles and they never come off so it probably doesn't even need it. After all I'm only using it for edc and the occasional wood carving.
