Thanks you 77.

To me the scales are better than the origional. They are more filling and the knife sits better in the hand. I waxed and buffed the scales when I finished them which may actually help the grippiniess.
I think Vic calls this the Secretary which is a very good description IMO. You wouldn't want to rely on it while camping but, it's great around the office.

Continuing the Ruple theme for Jake, today's carry:

Bill Ruple: "Sowbelly" (3 13/16" closed, Jigged Bone, CPM-154)

And a family photo alongside a couple of its Ruple "Stockman" siblings...

Got this Keen Kutter Jack knife with me today! It's a dandy
very stout knife... Has excellent snap and full blades and is nice
and sharp... love those old slipjoints!

Started the day with a Queen Mini Trapper, but will be finishing with the addition of this NY Schrade 8OT. Currently my only (working) Stockman. I'm Looking forward to toting it around this weekend. I haven't carried a Stockman in maybe 10 years, since the spring broke on my 1980's vintage Buck 703.

Ok. I'm ready. ;)

Those are gorgeous Ruples! And a matching stockman and sowbelly set to boot! I'm especially fond of the dyed and jigged bone and the uncommon shields but that well shot and the shot of with the blades open show there's a lot more to appreciate in addition to the good looks.
