This week will be the kc whittler (for random work cutting tasks) and then my R.Groves lambs foot for the finer tasks.

I found this one rummaging through my grandfather many tool boxes; I cleaned it up last night. Anyone have any info on it. I know it’s a Kabar. Thanks again.

P.S. Curse you all for getting me in to yet another type of knife addiction!!!!!

^ That hits the spot Jason.

I've been totin this #33 since I recieved it 4 days ago. Shaving sharp out of the tube and very comfortable in the pocket. I couldn't ask for a better pocket knife.

Edwood7 it looks like a nice carbon steel stockman pattern with peach seed jigged bone scales. Nice older knife. I was in LE myself for 33 years, just retired. I always carried a stockman as well as a Big A** tactical folder. Perfect combo.

As for my traditionals today I have a brand new RR stockman with smooth amber bone scales and a Hawkbill.

I carried my small Texas Jack all weekend. I need to send it back to Case for a minor repair, but I can't bear not having it on me.

Thank you, Peter. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

Today I'm totin' two that I just received in the mail. A little C F Kayser cattle knife and a GEC Conductor.

I like that cattle knife, Jake.

This one is on tap today barring severe rain later on:

Jake, this is a very nice picture and a nice knife, too! I've got one like that coming in :)

Jason, I love those scales on the gunstock! Are they ironwood or rosewood?

Peter, The scales are Cocobolo. Thanks for the nice comments... I like
this one a lot...

I'm back to this 2 blade shadow Sowbelly after a rotation through some of my other knives.

Nice knife Dan, how long is it closed?

Thanks, it's 3 5/8" closed with a 2 1/2" clip blade and a 2" sheepfoot. It falls right in that sweet spot for me in the 3 1/2" to 4" range. Big enough for a full grip but not too large for pocket carry. The lack of bolsters and liners make it nice and light too.
