Alluring Alox, Gurdy and Ken!!:thumbsup:

The Hayn Helpr is very useful in the kitchen! The vegetable is usually called scallions, in most recipes, or green onions maybe in England. I was using them in Miso Soup, because my vegetarian wife has had a nasty cold. Scallions are also good in cream cheese on a bagel. They are stronger than chives, less strong than shallots or onions.

Thanks, Dschal (and Jack), for your beneficial help in increasing my onion knowledge!:)

Captivating stag Forum knife, FBC!

Got the Barlow collection out for a family picture last night!

Dazzling array of Barlows, Macchina!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes Sir....that it is fine sir. I did not know Buck made a toothpick...sweet!
Thanks for the confirmation, and for the compliment, Gev. ;) Small Buck toothpicks are easy to obtain, but I've rarely seen the large ones; mine came in one of the Buck Holiday Tins a couple of years ago. I REALLY like the 2-blade large toothpicks (even if I have only 2 of them.)

...
Thanks a lot my friend, it's always good to see your Cudeman, and that's a great pic of your Buck
...
I'm carrying one of my Lambsfoot knives today, together with a Schrade Peanut r8shell kindly gifted me a while back :)

Thanks for the kind words about my knives/pics, Jack. :) Another enjoyable pair you've posted, with the exquisite feathering on your red buffalo horn; I'm carrying an Old Timer peanut this week, too (mine's Chinese, though).

Flawless!!

That two-tone wood is great!

Impeccable, Alan! I gave away my only tortoise shell a while ago, and really need to get more! (Wait a minute ... I just got a tortoise shell mini canoe last month that I haven't posted or carried yet.)

My Camillus scout hasn't been to town in a while.

Jubilant daily double, Tom!

Two for the road.
Killer stag x 2, Gary! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

This is an old "Forged" Imperial Hammer Brand barlow. It has the 1956 - 1988 tang stamp. Just a neat old knife. 3 & 3/8ths closed with saw cut delrin handles. Shell construction and I think around 69 cents in the day

That's a laudable Barlow, Gev! I've never seen that bolster stamp before; one blade or two? I'm always on the lookout for an old Imperial Barlow, and you've made me aware that there are other options out there!

GEC #15 Scout
