What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Gosh, Elliott, one heavy-hitter after another!

Thanks (I think). I'm actually going to go back to the maroon marauder (Erickson stockman) for a while. Overall that knife just has it all for what I want in an EDC...toughness: G-10 and integral frame; my favorite blade profiles and virtually indestructible scales. At 3.75" it's big enough for most anything and small enough to pocket easily in most clothes.

(Oh, I'll throw some other favorites in my pocket too...I can't help myself...but that one has become my steady partner for a while and will be for the foreseeable future.)

Could someone tell me what knife is the top Case in post #9808? It would be greately appreciated.

Reguards,

Thanks Railsplitter, that's what I thought, but I did not see the other blade.
I appreciate the quick response.

John

Man all these shadows are driving me nuts! That orange Dowell is so nice!!! wish there were production stuff like that!

I had my R.Groves lambs foot and Klass lockback whittler all week at work...the Groves is perfect for slicing my apple up at lunch time :)

Nathan, the orange Dowell wharncliff trapper is awesome! :)
I'm carrying a Buck Canoe today...I'm kinda exploring the pattern to see how it goes. So far, I'm not too enthusiastic about it, but I'll give it a little more time..

I am having an emotional time right now, carrying this one that was a gift. I am carrying a Queen chestnut bone slimline trapper with D2. I asked my mom for christmas for this one 2 yrs. back, and she delivered as moms do. I miss her dearly.

I forgot how great this thin blade slices. I slow down a bit while opening it, and I look at the color of the bone in the sunlight, and then feel the texture of the jigging and it reminds me that slipjoints have so much soul, and they are so sentimental when gifts. I close it by pushing the spine off my back pocket while pinching the scales and hear and feel the snap as the blade closes. Slimline Trappers are so elegant.

Very true Chris, I have a few knives that mean so much more than the others, simply because of how I got them.
Thats a beautiful knife.

I'll be carrying these when I get back from work.

Until then, I'll be packing this one, a great Christmas gift from my bro.

Carrying a GEC Conductor today. Going to try to compare it to the Northwoods Mini Moose.

Some great looking customs, guys... you almost got me to carry my Ken Erickson whittler... not yet though.

Looking forward to the comparison, Trand!

I'm still totin' the Case/Bose Norfolk... love that knife!

Thanks for the kind words boys, it's one of my favorites. Jason that LC by Rick is killer!! Love those scales buddy  I'm carrying my Case/Bose dogleg today. There is something about the pen blade on this knife that I just love, dunno if I've used the main blade at all.
