What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Handsome harvest, Gev! Are the green peppers hot? They look like some we've grown that are very mild sans seeds, but the seeds make them pretty much 5-alarm fire pods! Sorry to hear that you lost one of your big prize tomatoes, and even sorrier to hear that you've been enduring back pain. :( Glad it's on the mend.
Thank you sir! The Jalapenos are mild and I just love them ! I harvested the seeds from the lost big one so as to give meaning to its existence. Carrying an old Case XX sodbuster today. Just gave it a new edge :D

When the rain washes you clean
You'll know, you'll know,
Dreams of loneliness
Like a heartbeat, drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
What you had
And what you lost

Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
But I keep my visions to myself
Well, it's only me

I always loved the Eric's Jack and that one has exceptional stag John. Very nice.
Eric did a great job with those. It's my second most expensive knife (behind the 2013 Forum knife) and I don't regret a penny of it. I have very few stag handled knives. That particular one has very well balanced stag on both sides, not quite symmetrical but very ergonomic and feels good in the hand, both in use and just fondling.

Here are the other pics I tried to post before PB decided to shut me down

Showing the thickness and symmetry. Just right. I hate overly fat stag.

I think they would come back if I agreed to pay $3.99 per month , but I feel like I am being blackmailed by Photobucket . I have never put up with that kind of stuff . It is not much money , but it is just the feeling of it. I will try Imgur for a little while .

Yep. It appears PB has changed their user terms to not allow linking to forums and such on free accounts. My entire build threads on a couple forums for cars don't work anymore. Ugh.

Any recommendations on another hosting site?

No John, it is either Chestnut Bone or Walnut Bone 1978 vintage. It hasn't been out of the safe in a while
I got to check out imgur- Phonybucket will get to me soon.

It's a great knife, but the backspring tension is too heavy for me to open it comfortably. My son has mine now.

Mine was a little stiff at first but a drop of mineral oil took care of that - wasn't so much the backspring as the joint was a little tight. In general I don't like stiff pulls, and I have others with lighter pulls, but this one is just about right for me.

I'm carrying a MOP Case 8201 but I don't think I can post picks because I'm not a paid subscriber. Am I correct about this ? I'm new to this forum
