What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

An old favorite for today

Time to break in this 73. The stag, the end cap and the stainless make it feel much more substantial than my jigged bone 73.

That stag 73 is gorgeous.

Thanks GT, terrific trio, especially the Toledo!

I had these two with me today:

While setting up a dedicated sharpening table. Something I have wanted to do for a while but never got around to it.

That Bark River and Farmer are a great pair but I really like your sharpening station.

Dis here one :D

That cat looks like it's asking for a beer. Really cool picture.

Thanks GT, yeah, I uploaded the pic directly. Three good-looking Sowbellies my friend, is the Colt new?

Carrying more stag today, Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot, and a small Wright's Lambsfoot :) Have a great Sunday folks

Jack both those knives are beautiful but that A. Wright is spectacular my friend.

Have a great Sunday folks!

Gary Both those are exceptional but that AG Russell really flips my switch and I just happen to have their new catalog sitting next to me, Hmmmmm.

But my beautiful wife, who I am lucky to be a part of her life, requested steaks tonight. I'll probably let the Dunlap stockman join me for that job. (Recycled photo, but you get the picture *sic*)

Joey that Dunlap is one fantastic piece of cutlery.

Joey, that Dunlap is amazing! Wow!

Bob well said my friend I agree 100%.

Today I had my Colt Canoe that 5k Qs gifted me (Thank you ever so much Gary). I have only had one Canoe before a Rough Rider that I never carried and gifted to someone so this was the first time I ever carried one and really used it. I must say it's a great pattern. I cut up a bunch of cardboard, cut off a piece of garden hose to put a new end on it, trimmed some plants for my wife and played around feathering some sticks. It felt great in hand and is still sharp. I am sold and will be buying some more of them.

Thanks, Jack. I've had the Colt sowbelly for quite some time. When I started hanging out on The Porch, I was soon enchanted by the photos of stag handles, but I also soon found that the cost of stag was beyond the budget I'd set for myself. But I ran across Colt's "black stag" and thought it was an economical entry into the world of stag. Once the Colt sowbelly arrived, I discovered that it was actually stag bone (and, to be fair, the "small print" of most dealers' advertising copy did mention this). But it's pretty nice stag bone! ;)
Your Shaw and Wright stag is more than pretty nice!!:cool: I especially like that Wright stag, dark and toasty!!:cool::thumbsup:

Wow! Stunning stag Randy!

I've been carrying my Cranberry Red #15 Rope Knife this weekend, and will likely keep it in my pocket going into this week.

I remember reading Jaws as a teenager Barrett! :) Nice 'beer-mat' collection, and what a stunning Rope Knife, one of Charlie's and GEC's finest I think

Edit - Forgot to add what I'm carrying today! :D
