Looks like you're a hardcore multitasker, Shawn!!

Thanks, Joey.

Your D&D duo (Davison and Dunlap) is extra special!!

(That Bible looks like it has some miles on it, too.

)
Sounds like a plan, Rob!

Who knew that doves came in different kinds? I'm obviously no ornithologist!

(I think there's a Ferlin Husky gospel song about the wings of a snow white dove.)
Thanks for the eye well-wishes. I know that trying to judge fly balls in the outfield this summer during my church league softball games was a nightmare.

Good to see that orange Pioneer helping you keep body and soul together, Tom!

Glad that Colt canoe is working out for you, Randy!

I can't seem to decide how good a knife is until I use it (and most of them are much better than I expected once I give them a chance - I guess I have pretty low standards.

)
Splendid spear Barlow, Paul!

This post made me spew some of my breakfast cereal across the kitchen table!

Your rope knife rocks, Barrett!

Pair of very handsome handles, Jack!

Happy Birthday, Camillus!

Big burl and big blade filling your hand there!

Admirable white/Wright combo for the holiday, Rachel!!

Wow!!

Just from the photo, that whittler sure looks REAL close to perfect to me, SVT!

Your almost-white ram's horn Lionsteel Barlow is VERY cool, bonzodog!

I'm still enjoying my sowbelly stockman long weekend, but I pulled out another knife "for old times' sake" today. One of my sisters sent all the siblings email yesterday with pictures of the farm on which we grew up. My brother-in-law apparently had agricultural business near the old farm last week, and decided to stop by to see what it currently looks like. (My dad sold the farm almost 30 years ago.) No one was home, but that didn't stop BIL from taking photos anyway.

(I guess he left his card and a note.) Here's the barn where I learned the meaning of "work"; how's that for Labor Day?

Below the barn pic is a pic of the knife I always used growing up on the farm.
