What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Was going to save these for Sabre Saturday, but will use for wooden Wednesday. A Sabre GESCUT 29 Barlow ("24" is stamped on the pile-side tang, but it is clearly a large Barlow, which is 29/629 in Sabre-speak) and Sabre 45 Hawkbill, both JAPAN. Want patina??

I haven't but it is on my list of "must sees" now :)

Bailed non-SAK of the Week is a Colonial electrician's knife:

I dig that electrician GT, very nice.

For me today, a custom that needs a cleaning and a Winchester scout.

Thanks for the follow-up, Barrett. Your 92 looks sweet to me, but personal taste is what it is! ;) Cool dog pic, and that burlap 25 with the stamped bolster is terrific!:cool:

My Euro Knife of the Week is a Taramundi purchased in Sevilla, Spain:

Camillus made advertising knife for today!

Great advertising knife, Ernie! I love stuff like that!

Carried this one again today (and probably tomorrow, too).

I'm a few days behind but I have certainly enjoyed seeing everyone's knives. Just have been a bit busy to take pictures and post them myself.

Beautiful Ettrick! That ebony is something else.

I just got an old Primble, and I'm going to carry it today and decide if I want to fix it up or leave it as is. :)

That old Primble has some beautiful character. I think it will shine regardless of what you decide. I'll look forward to seeing it again, one way or the other.

These two for me today

I love the depth of that ox horn, Jack. And the countryside views are absolutely wonderful.

I always enjoy seeing your Spanish knives, GT. Especially knowing how much they mean to you.

I have been enjoying the pictures of the Washington Jacks that have been popping up lately. Such classy knives and yours is no exception. I hope they do more runs of them in the future.

Wooden Wednesday Willamette Whittler in Cocobolo today :)

That cocobolo is beautiful! If the upcoming 78s look that good, I am going to be very happy with my choice.

I had these three with me today, either in my pocket or lounging about on my desk.

Thanks for posting that Sabre Hawkbill - It really brings back memories! My dad gave me a Sabre Hawkbill years and years ago. I still have it, but the spring is shot and the edge is ruined. I still hang onto though.

I appreciate your comments about my knives and my "mental ramblings", Jack. ;) I've admired your stag lambsfoot often lately, but this is the first time I recall seeing the pile side, where IMHO the stag is even more impressive than that on the oft-pictured mark side!!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thank you my friend, I also think they may have got the stag back to front! :D I've always liked your pics of your Cadet, and the intriguing bottle-opener, and it is a treat to see that lovely Taramundi yet again :)

Thanks, Jack. Sabres are a low key mystery to me, and I have used those two for years. You have a nice bone and horn collection for the day; the sawn bone is simply classic with its classically simple, yet rich appearance.
