Very nice rotation indeed!
Thanks for the encouraging comments about my knives, Vaporstang and Stuart. Thanks for the king comments, GT, and I like all of those knives, but the Colt is special.

Thanks for the follow-up, Barrett. Your 92 looks sweet to me, but personal taste is what it is!...Thanks, GT! I've seen examples of GEC's Goldenrod jigged bone with nice depth and color variation (dark/light) that look great -- the recent run of Goldenrod Tidioute #25 Barlows, for example -- but the color of the bone on that #92 just feels a bit flat to me.
I sharpened this one up for the first time yesterday and dropped it in my pocket this morning. I didn't expect the Burlap Micarta to be one of my favorites from his run of #25's, but I'm really happy with it. (Recycled photo from when I first received the knife, because I forgot to take one today.)

I appreciate your comments about my knives and my "mental ramblings", Jack.

Have carried this blade everyday since getting it and have used it everyday. It did a lot of lime cutting for beers and coctails this past weekend at my buddies bachlor party.
Impressive, Travman!1964-69 Case Sodbuster with half the blade ground away. This angle makes the blade look more full than it really is. It still works as well as a new one. View attachment 764057o
That Dowell is boffo, Jake!!!Haven't been posting much at all because of all of the forum issues. Seems to be working now though.

That's a captivating harness jack, Dee!!

Auspicious example, Will!!I got this out again, Swell Centre Pen Black Box. I'm still eagerly awaiting a backup Whittler from the Exchange but our Customs take forever to send you stuff, even when you've paid on-line

Thanks for the ID, Bob.Thanks for the compliment Gary. The whittler is a Tidioute #57 Ghepetto Whittler. It's a split spring wharncliffe main with coping and clip point secondaries.
I KNOW what model this beauty is!!!Same as yesterday.

Congrats, Matt!Picked this little guy up cheap while in the Smokies for the annual Shades of the Past car show. Little bit of work and its a slicer. Never been one for smaller knives like this but its impressed me so far. Its making me rethink my thoughts on wanting to try a Peanut or similar out some time!

Matt
Thanks for the SBJr kindness, Tom.Thks for the compliment on my skinny TAD GT. Your Case SB Jr. is deservedly getting some attention too. I'm interested in the big brother, but IIRC it's not available in jigged bone last time I looked.
Another Case, Back Pocket, CM154:

It's hard for me to imagine anything displacing my anticipation and enjoyment of Stag Saturday, Harry, but I do look forward to TWO TEWs TUESday.
mykel and Ron, I'm always happy to see examples of that BF stag jack!!There is just something special about the 1st 77!

You're welcome, FBC; that old cross model is fantastic!!
Another stupendous old cross SAK!!Today I carry a SAK alox pioneer old cross...

Couple of delectable old Barlows, Steve and mbkryan!
The SAKs are a delight to see, GT, but the Taramundi is captivating - simple beauty crafted simply. Thanks for the encouraging comments about my knives, Vaporstang and Stuart.
Thanks for the follow-up, Barrett. Your 92 looks sweet to me, but personal taste is what it is!Cool dog pic, and that burlap 25 with the stamped bolster is terrific!
I appreciate your comments about my knives and my "mental ramblings", Jack.I've admired your stag lambsfoot often lately, but this is the first time I recall seeing the pile side, where IMHO the stag is even more impressive than that on the oft-pictured mark side!!
Ultimate user, tmd_87!!I'm especially surprised at how much "wear" is visible on the micarta handles in such a short time!
Impressive, Travman! It's hard for me to conceive of the circumstances that would lead to such blade wear in 50 years!
That Dowell is boffo, Jake!!!
That's a captivating harness jack, Dee!!Teamsters, eh? Must be a Union Jack!
Thanks in large part to your influence, oldtymer, I took delivery on a pen knife just like yours yesterday. My first yellow delrin Case, and my first Case pen knife (no photos yet). Best breakfast ever, thanks to the knife's fruit-cutting prowess, no doubt!
I still like Peanuts, but first impressions suggest that I prefer the single-spring pen configuration on a small knife.
Auspicious example, Will!!
Thanks for the ID, Bob.Not sure why I didn't recognize it; maybe it's the unique angle you had in your photo.
I KNOW what model this beauty is!!!(Can this be called a sleeveboard pattern, even though there's some curviness/wiggle to the shape??)
Congrats, Matt!I have that model on my "wish list" at a couple of dealers. What shape is the secondary blade?
Thanks for the SBJr kindness, Tom.I think you're right about the full-size model coming only in delrin. Your "Big Green Machine" is commendable!
It's hard for me to imagine anything displacing my anticipation and enjoyment of Stag Saturday, Harry, but I do look forward to TWO TEWs TUESday.
mykel and Ron, I'm always happy to see examples of that BF stag jack!!
Cool photos of cute dog and desirable knives, Paul!!Are you SURE about the actual temperature?? I think that shadow stag would probably turn up the heat several degrees!!
You're welcome, FBC; that old cross model is fantastic!!
Another stupendous old cross SAK!!Thanks for posting it, Pt-Luso!!
Couple of delectable old Barlows, Steve and mbkryan!
My Alox Knife of the Week is a red Vic Cadet:

Speaking of red Vics, my SAK of the Week is a celidor Classic SD, and, as always, I'm carrying a celidor Minichamp.

Congrats, Matt!I have that model on my "wish list" at a couple of dealers. What shape is the secondary blade?

More like a spey blade. Its a cool little knife for sure. The smaller blade is an odd pen style maybe? It has a sharper drop to the tip like a lamb foot but a belly to the cutting edge like a pen.
View attachment 764576
The secondary blade on the display model was really loose and would rattle around when closed but they found a couple others hidden on a back shelf and I was able to test them and see that it was just that particular example that was messed up. The one I have will break a fingernail if your not careful!
