What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Not a good picture but I realized that I have been ignoring this one for quite some time.

That looks much better than I remembered it my friend . It's hard to believe you traded me out of it after all I had to drink was a coffee . But I like what I received for it . I can tell you that I had more fun that day than I had at the last Chinese Worm Wrestling Tournament that I went to . Carry it in good health my friend .

My secrets out! Actually I use that buttery flavored popcorn oil! It's amazingly slick especially for the joints! :p:D

Thanks Harry! :) This is my only single blade 77 Wharncliffe Barlow. I have two of the first run models that have double blades but they reside in the darkness! I like it because it was pocket ready! You know that was some strong coffee. I'm glad you enjoyed the day, it's really hard to beat a CWWT!:D

That Buck whittler is quite uncommon, isn't it? Very cool!!:thumbsup::cool:

My stockman for this week is actually a Kingston cattle knife, ca 1947 (thanks, Mark):

You don't see many of them around, maybe because of the diminutive size. I like the classic Buck shield and the slanted bolsters.
A lot of the Whittler knives out there are made with a clip stamped "309" as it's the same blade as on the Companion, but the true Whittler model is the 310. Three springs with the clip blade riding in the middle. This one came from Bass Pro in a little wooden gift box.

(I like the looks of that Kingston Cattle Knife!)
