I seem to have found the happiness I seek
when we're out together dancing in the street
I love to go fishing

Thanks Gary. In point of fact we were extremely fortunate. The house, boat, and our cars were unscathed. The palms were messed up and we lost lost some landscaping but that is all minor. My major concern was the island itself and nature saw fit to spare it.
Good to hear, Alan. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

5K Qs 5K Qs , that Kingston is a heck of a knife, particularly for 70 years old. Thanks for sharing, GT.

Thanks for the confirmation. :)

In Case of trouble today, I loaded up with a Case Pattern 30 from 1920-1940 and a Muskrat from 1976.

Holy cow, Wayne, your very best is more than I deserve!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::rolleyes:

I've got this #74 Stallion with me today.

Thanks, Jack! Sometimes you come home from a day out shooting sporting clays with a couple extra shotgun shells in your pocket, and you never know where they might end up. :D...
Great photo, Barrett; sweet ebony on your Stallion! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
You shoot sporting clays? That's an important plot device in Stephen Hunter's Black Light, another Swagger novel set mostly in Arkansas (but starts in Arizona).

This one needs some pocket/using time. I've had it since Christmas.

That's some eye-catching amarillo jigged bone, Jer!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Humpback stockman?

Well-matched, Dee!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Mesmerizing photo of a splendid knife, Dylan! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Thanks for the positive remarks on my knives. :)

Two John's today, one Primble and one Lloyd :).

A rare two-folder day, Tom?? What a pair!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Nice Lloyd Lanny's, Tom. If it was Lanny's it'd be "Lanny's Lloyd"
Yikes! :eek: All this Lanny/Lloyd talk is making me Looney Tunes! o_O

Carrying some hard-used ram's horn and D2 at work this week.

Your ram's horn RAT rocks, Jeff!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Don't know why but the imperial H6 calls to me too often.
Has that fixed blade always had an animal on the handle?? This is the first I've noticed it! :confused::thumbsup:

Yowza, that's superlative, Jeff!! :thumbsup::thumbsup: Can you provide any details about the knife? I can't quite read the tang stamp. Do you know the "meaning" of the emblem on the blade? Handle material?

Nice variety today, folks! Y'all have inspired me to change up my carry for the evening.

As usual, the scrimshaw is scrumptious, but that tip-bolstered IXL with the to-die-for stag is unbelievable, Mike!! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Steve, your Camillus/Böker brace of Barlows is quite a dynamic duo!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Totin this 77 Wharncliffe Barlow that I got from @Old Engineer! A little trading was taking place on the Porch at Great Eastern! :D

Very attractive 77 Barlow, Ron!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That looks much better than I remembered it my friend . It's hard to believe you traded me out of it after all I had to drink was a coffee . But I like what I received for it . I can tell you that I had more fun that day than I had at the last Chinese Worm Wrestling Tournament that I went to . Carry it in good health my friend .

Harry
You're a funny guy, Harry!! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup::D

You don't see many of them around, maybe because of the diminutive size. I like the classic Buck shield and the slanted bolsters.
A lot of the Whittler knives out there are made with a clip stamped "309" as it's the same blade as on the Companion, but the true Whittler model is the 310. Three springs with the clip blade riding in the middle. This one came from Bass Pro in a little wooden gift box.

(I like the looks of that Kingston Cattle Knife!)
Thanks for the Buck 310 info, Ratbert. :thumbsup: Thanks, too, for the kind comment on the Kingston Cattle. :)

Morning campers :thumbsup: Piano keys in my pockets today ;)

Piano keys seem to be in play today!;) Y'all have a nice one! :D

No, it was a recent edition.
A few months ago I found the little cow pin my dad had given me as a kid and it was a bit messed up to still be used as a pin so I roughly inleted it into the handle and glued it in place.

heaven...oh heaven
my heart beats so that I can hardly speak
I seem to have found the happiness I seek
when we're out together dancing in the street
I love to go fishing
down by the creek
but it does not thrill me half as much
as dancing with you
cheek to cheek

That's a real beautiful knife you've got there:thumbsup:

That's some eye-catching amarillo jigged bone, Jer!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Humpback stockman?
Yup. Humpback stockman. It's a strange knife, being bulky without being big. So it must be robust. I've admired it long enough and it's time to wring it out.

5K Qs 5K Qs ,thanks, GT, for making a Case for the knives I posted. I really enjoy having them at hand, but will try to mix up the makers soon. You are very kind to acknowledge the knives we offer up with wit and information. I appreciate it.

GT, you are packing a passel of problem preventing/patching/pacifying pocket powerhouses. If they were drayhorses, the Marbles would be the Percheron.
