Thank you Stuart & GT D Duckdog , @5K Qs for your comments (and everyone's likes) on yesterday's post. I'm using up the last of this year's vacation time this week, doing some work around the homestead, so I strapped on the Helle. I don't often have the chance to carry a fixed blade but when I do I'm always struck by their utility, at your side & ready to go.

On that topic, nice fixed blade HFinn H HFinn . Could you tell us about it?

So many fine knives and pics - every one a stunner in its own way. I need a 'Like All' button for each page!

heaven...oh heaven
my heart beats so that I can hardly speak
I seem to have found the happiness I seek
when we're out together dancing in the street
I love to go fishing
down by the creek
but it does not thrill me half as much
as dancing with you
cheek to cheek

Gev, your posts are a balm for the spirit, my friend.:)

Vires in unitatis, Chin!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

Absolutely, GT! Although you did send me back to the Latin translator, Teach!

I should have known it, considering I had basically the same phrase in English on my card for six years!

That's a fine and capable trio you have there, GT. How do you like that Marbles? It looks like an interesting pattern - is it exclusive to Marbles?

Smashing pic my friend

Thanks Jack - wow, what a beautiful 85 that is. Primo pair, my friend.:thumbsup:

It is Enzo necker. Enzo is a trademark of Brisa, in Finland. Here are the specs copied from Brisa.fi:

Handle: Ivory linen micarta

Hardware: Brass rivet and lanyard tube

Grind: Full Flat Steel: Sandvik 12c27

Blade: 20x70 mm

Thickness: 3.2 mm

Total: 160 mm

They are available with many choises for handle material, in full flat grind or scandi, either with kydex or leather sheath. The sheath in picture is self made, originally I made it as a pocket sheath for a small puukko.

Here are my picks for wooden (albeit stabilized wood) Wednesday: Gerber PK-3 Handyman and Buck 110

Here's another shot of the PK-3 (that I posted in mid-August) showing the funky screwdriver, stripper blade.

I understand using stabilized wood handled knives will reduce the chance of me being warped, and I can use all the help I can get.
