What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's really cool.

Thanks! Old Timers have such nice blade steel, heat treat and grinds. I don't love the brown Delrin and the Swinden keys drive me crazy, but they're cheap and readily available in a ton of patterns. Total cost of this guy was about $15 including the Micarta, knife and rod stock. I think they're even better than the TL-29 as a platform to mod. The only problem is, I never take apart a nice one, so I'm ending up with a fairly extensive Old Timer collection

This one was *really* close to getting a cap lifter in place of the spey blade but I ran into some fitment issues. I'm going to have to save that for another day and a bigger knife...

Is that a Glennbad mod 34OT???

It's a HeathH Garage Special, but that's extremely high praise! Thank you! :D

Ah, I'm toying with the idea of putting some red micarta on a SAK executive. There's something about the stuff...

Nice job on the mod!

I'm also not big on the swinden key construction, but I do love the blades and the OT delrin.

I like you're choice of handle colors, it's similar to that of the imperial Barlow's like I'm carrying this week and of course schrade owned imperial.

Lotta cool knives to kick off the week!!:D:cool:

Congrats on the brilliant blue Davison, TheFactor; that's icy cool!:cool:

It's a Vic, but I don't know its name. I got it for $12 at an antique store. I suspect it was a well-meant gift to someone who was known to like knives but liked them smaller.
Big and little blades, cap-lifter and can opener, magnifier and Phillips, scissors, awl and corkscrew. Not necessarily in that order.
I picked up the same model (for $15 or $20 at a gun&knife show) and spent some time on SAKwiki trying to ID it, so I'm quite convinced it's an Explorer. I was carrying mine all of last week, too! That's freaky cool!:cool:

Light, summery stainless knife.

Pocket Pal, Jer? They're Xtreme cool knives, as are the similar Alox Secretaries (see below)!:cool:
