ADF62DD4-8752-47FF-949D-EF80E52A8929.jpeg I know I posted it once already, but this is a better pic. First fire of the season (first cool snap in south Louisiana!) and letting the kids do hot dogs and s’mores on the fire pit tonight. It’s consolation prize for not going to a Halloween party cause the little one is sick.

Edit:
I have discovered I have the need (ok maybe just a want since I have axes, machetes and hatchets) for a camp style knife. Ratmandu CG’s are available at swamp rat so I ordered one. Wine is so good lol.

Ive been carrying this pair all week, and they are still in my pocket today. My new Guardian's Lambfoot and a vintage jack from our friend Bob.Guardian and Russell.jpg
I've also got this old Camillus #64 I'm tinkering with this weekend. I turned the messed up spey blade into a sort of coping blade, and I'm deciding whether to make a new shield for it.

@btb01 thanks! Class 6 rapids. They’re considered unnavigable.

Your Lambsfoot looks great in black and white too!
Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks a lot Mark, you too my friend

This one in my pocket today . ( re-cycled pictures )

Even Old Knives can still be used to do a job and this one certainly will .

Great-looking Lambsfoot with plenty of life left in it Harry :) I get a lot of satisfaction from using my old knives

It has been a very busy day . Just got in from a Grand Daughters wedding . Was carrying my Stag 35 . Have to use re-cycled pictures .

Harry

Congratulations to your granddaughter and her feller Harry :)

Clocks went back here last night, so we'll be getting dark evenings soon :( Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I'm carrying these two today

Fine Sleeveboard that one Jack:thumbsup:

What's the background ? Some kind of old kitchen utensils catalogue?

Regards, Will

Thanks Will :) I'm afraid it's no more than the brown paper bag that the antiques shop I bought the knife from put it in! :D Enjoy your Sunday my friend

As usual, lots of amazing carries in this thread. I'm enjoying seeing the new #35 Churchills. I may regret passing on those, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

Thanks, Jack. I'm considering using a scrap of piano key, since I've made a few ivory shields before so it could be like a series. A scrap of dark wood might look nice, too...
