Thank you Sir !! I watched that little knife in the local Antique Shop for some time before they would agree to my price . That test equipment is just some old Standing Wave Meter that I used when I used to use a CB when we traveled .Couple of beauty's guarding that test equipment-the covers on that Henkels are sweet
Thanks guys! Sure will check the Lambsfoot thread! Real classic!
Yeah I'm the Falling_rain from Australian BF. I started collecting traditional knives not too long ago, I post on both forums but certainly I learn more and see more here!

Dude that looks like Starry, Starry Night. Outstanding.
I like the contrast between those two. Is that primitive bone on the 85, or some kind of caramel latte mammoth?

Good stuff mate.Yeah, the 'All Things Traditional' subforum on ABF can be a bit of 'an island of traditionals in a sea of moderns' as someone said over there.

Ok ok I give in...but no one really thought I could change did they?

I'm torn, Clay!My friend I was starting to worry! It was a great run and the boys knife is a great knife but after like 40 years the 303 is just in my blood!
I always carry my SAK, even that big Champion, on a little suspension clip hanging from the edge of my LFP, and don't notice any difference between a Classic and a Champion; quite miraculous, really!Wow Gary how big are your pockets? That is quite the load of gear.
Loving that electrican knife. Are those Bakelite scales?
That looks outstanding, John!I've been carrying this smaller Case 63087 CV Red Bone Medium Stockman recently. Same frame as the Pen knife but with a 3rd blade. In this case, a small spey.

Slipjoints may not be traditionals for most of the Australians, I guess. Young people prefers modern, tactical ones whilst old traditional lovers do not bother posting their stuff.Good stuff mate.Yeah, the 'All Things Traditional' subforum on ABF can be a bit of 'an island of traditionals in a sea of moderns' as someone said over there.

I always carry my SAK, even that big Champion, on a little suspension clip hanging from the edge of my LFP, and don't notice any difference between a Classic and a Champion; quite miraculous, really!Don't know what synthetic that Holub has for covers, but I like the swirly black on red; wish I could think of some way to "polish" it to make it appear brighter.
That looks outstanding, John!I've become quite a fan of the Case pen knife, and an additional blade is always an improvement, to me.
Holy Cow, Stuart!!I've rarely had such a visceral reaction to a knife photo!!
The symmetry; the rounded bolsters; the sunk joints; the bone color, jigging, and smooth bone ends; the shield; the monster pen blade!!! Ooh-La-La!!
Couple of handsome knives, and I appreciate the heartfelt sentiments!
Thanks, Jack. You've a thrilling Thursday pair!
Steve & Jeff, those are a couple of vivacious vintage Barlows!
Notable pair of 2-blade teardrop jacks, Will!
Overwhelming Ohta, Gary!(And a perplexing photo for me. How many "real" knives are in the pic, and how many are just a photo of a knife pic??
)
Nice!!Is that the rust red jig bone? Was it hard to track down? Someday I'd like to hunt for the spearpoint version, since it shares my birthday.
That knife is MONEY, Dee; stunning!!
Congrats on the sensational SBJ, Jake!
Phenomenal knives and photos, Dean! What's the machinery on which the Presidential rests?
Splendid stag, Harry!Congrats on winning "Let's Make a Deal" for the gorgeous Henckels!
