Thanks, GT. I figured that you'd notice that spear blade. It is a cool knife, with unique jigging/smooth bone harmony. And it rides well in the pocket.Holy Cow, Stuart!!I've rarely had such a visceral reaction to a knife photo!!
The symmetry; the rounded bolsters; the sunk joints; the bone color, jigging, and smooth bone ends; the shield; the monster pen blade!!! Ooh-La-La!!

Carrying my Stag GEC 35 again this week, along with a small modern folder. Something will eventually displace the Churchill, but at this point, I’m not sure when that will happen.

I'm not surprised with all the OTHER knives in your pocket GT!Thanks for the compliment my friend
Great line-up today, and I think that is the first Christmas knife so far isn't it?!

Jack, since September I've been carrying most of my knives each week in a fanny pack (to facilitate frequent unloading/reloading of knives when I visit local schools). I typically have only four knives in my pockets these days....
Thanks, Gary. The knife is resting on part of a natural gas distribution system, which is on top of a ridge.
I think you get the first Christmas knife post this year!
You're definitely right, Pt-Luso!!Today in my pocket, with two beautiful knives!
Am I right or not?

I admire that leather slip, Ace!!Doing some fall pruning and clearing, so time to carry something a bit larger -- my Rough Rider trapper in a home-made leather case.

Thanks for the info about your #68, traumkommode.Yes, Rust Red Jigged Bone, although this is more strawberry colored than most of the later rust red that I've seen. I have been looking for a White Owl for almost a year (albeit a stainless one), and this happened to show up on the auction site. There was a spearpoint that I put in a bid for, too, but the price on that one skyrocketed. Honestly, I'm not sure why the price on this one didn't do the same, but I'm really happy it didn't. I like the way you post your weekly rotations, too. Do you set out to coordinate for the week ahead of time?

Dandy micarta duo, tmd!!
Captivating old Camillus, Jeff!!View attachment 795434 Radio guy said it was only 18 degrees at 6 this morning, which a near record low for this date. So Mrs Fleshwund checked our thermometer and said “ he’s exaggerating- it’s only 17.”
Fine with me- outside all day and it was a beautiful fall day in the woods. Of course, I had the big 23 Jack to keep me warm!

Like the Mellow Yellow, Shawn!!![]()
It was Yellow Day. Thanks for the RR, Alan!

This one arrived yesterday, I actually stumbled upon it in the evening as my mailman put it in the garage, a pleasant surprise
A very nice Stag #61 half Congress from 2010. I've been trying some new (old) patterns from GEC of late. I have the four blade version of this and wanted to try the two blade version as an option. I actually like it better then it's bigger brother

I admire that leather slip, Ace!!I'd like to try something like that, using "leather laces" rather than "string stitches".
