What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Very distinguished Churchill, James!:thumbsup::cool: What's the leather-clad case it's sitting on in the photo?

Thanks GT. The case holds 1963c binoculars, bought new with paper route money. Love the "as always" scrimshaw RR!

@5K Qs Thanks GT, I don't have special agents just The Hand of Fate at my side:)

@rinos sage is a strong tasty herb especially good with Pork dishes, you are lucky to live in a place where it grows all year, here it's -10c plus chill factor 15m/sec wind:eek:and 25 cm of snow with more coming down. The Osage knife looks a beauty, well, I do have one myself;)

Regards, Will

Thanks, Jack.:)
What a pair of knives, and what a generous gift from Rob!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Outstanding orange SBJr, Tom! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

More optimal orange!! Gotta be a very satisfying (and often-used) knife, @Dschal !!:thumbsup::cool::cool:

Sounds like you've been doing some informative, productive, and interesting research, Stuart!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Thanks for sharing your findings!:thumbsup:

Congrats on picking up another captivating cattle knife, Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for your thoughts on classifying your fantastic Remington reproductions, Stuart!:cool: Thanks also for the Electrician acknowledgement. That was my first Alox knife, and still one of my favorite models. Do you use the wirestripper cutout on the sheepsfoot blade for cigar trimming?

Congrats on a sensational stag lambsfoot, Will!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: Is that just "luck of the draw" on a normal online order, or do you have agents around the world who select knives for you?? ;)

Congratulations on your retirement after a long career, Ron!!:thumbsup::):) Knockout knives to commemorate the occasion!! I hope you have a long, satisfying, and stimulating retirement!!:cool:

Breathtaking, striking, killer Beer Scout Knife, Buzz!!:cool::cool: Hey, BSK BSK! :D

Another resplendent Remington, Stuart!:thumbsup::cool: At first I thought it was a gunstock lockback (which I'd never seen before), but that's probably wishful thinking on my part.

Is this for real, or is there February Fool's Day on Feb. 1???:eek::confused::confused:

Thanks for the Electrician comment, Dean; it was my first Alox, and apparently all it takes is one to get hooked on them! ;) Splendid Soldier!:thumbsup::thumbsup: What year is yours?

Lovely lambsfoot and cool pic, Greg!:cool::cool::thumbsup: Breakfast tacos sounds so much more adventurous than my quotidian oatmeal! :D:thumbsup:

In my watch pocket this week are a Taylor-Schrade 44OT Workmate, and, as always, a scrimshawed Rough Rider small white bone stockman (thanks, r8shell):

See how much more fun it is with pictures?! :D ;) Classic pairing

Thank you my friend :) I'm carrying it again today, with my Radio Jack

I was just about to go out when I thought, what the heck, it's Friday, I'm going to have a Three Knife Day! :D ;)

Today, with a tip of the hat to JB in SC JB in SC , my Remington Bullet replica carry is the little brother of the R1303 Lock Back that I carried yesterday - a Baby Bullet lock back (R1173L) that was produced by Camillus in 1984. It is much slimmer and lighter than its big brother and a joy to carry. I share my affection for this knife with Jerry's father-in-law, to whom Jerry gave a Baby Bullet years ago. Thanks, Jerry, for giving me a better reason to share this fine knife with the Porch.

Yes, GT, that is my only use for the cutout. I have wirestrippers that I would prefer to use for actual wirestripping before I sullied the SAK, which is why its blade cuts cigars so cleanly. (I only have a cigar or two a month so it doesn't get too much work.) Thanks for the kind comments and kudos for your pair today. I appreciate that both the Schrade and the RR have real nail nicks, rather than the slim suggestions of a nick found on some blades.
