Those are my favorite covers from the 2017 Calf Roper run and that is an excellent photo.

The slip is wonderful, Paul. Thanks you again for such a fine piece of leather, and for the kind compliments.

I have these two with me today.

Excellent Ebony duo, Dylan!

I'm still carrying this #25, but I've also had this little H20 fixed blade with me since it showed up in the mail this afternoon. I had been thinking about getting one of these for a while, but Will Power Will Power 's post in this thread this past weekend convinced me to go ahead and purchase one. (I also pulled the trigger on an Ebony #35 Churchill, which should be here tomorrow, thanks to r8shell r8shell 's recent post here, as well as @Pàdruig's great photos of his.)

5K Qs 5K Qs That's a venerable old Cadet, GT, and the Champion looks to be a suspender stretcher. All are worthy of a day's carry.

Good Heavens, Stuart, I appreciate your daily positive comments! :)

This poor Klein hawkbill had been thoroughly abused by a power grinder.

I reshaped it into a sheepsfoot, filed down the kick, and polished out all of the grinder scars. Pretty happy with it now.

Btw real nice Stag on that Colt stockman there.
Gosh, thanks, HnS. :) Colt advertised the covers on that series of knives as "black stag" but it's really stag bone.

It's ugly magic glow knife day! Because, why not?

Some of us are made more attractive by carrying pretty knives.
And some of us make ugly knives beautiful by carrying them.
Gracious Sakes, Jeff, this statement had me contemplating life!:cool::thumbsup: (I've decided I don't fit into either category. ;))

My hunt was successful. I found and had a great afternoon with Half/Stop Half/Stop , and our daily carries had a great time together, too. Thanks for taking the time out of your trip, Ron.

Goodness gracious Gary! :) Thanks for the compliments and comments!

Yes indeed it was great to meet and have a nice leisurely lunch with Stuart @Duckdog ! :D Pam and I both had a great time. Stuart is a great guy. We came away from our visit feeling like we have known him for a long time. He’s just like most of the people I’ve met from the Porch, good as gold! We look forward to another meeting sometime in the future!

Gary, I love your Case Canoe! Those models with the single springs are so slim and make a great Totin knife!

It may be no surprise, but today I will be Totin my Black Alox Pioneer!

This has been neglected ever since I got it. Insane  Now I've polished the bolsters-didn't like them matte at all-it's taken on new appeal, slim, long Wharcliffe and very tight construction:cool: Just wish I knew how to polish the scales but all that green or colour compounds seem to soak into this matte Ivory micarta, foul:eek:
