This is the knife I'm carrying today. I started carrying it last Saturday.

Last Saturday - In new condition - never carried, sharpened, etc..

Today - Starting to take on a subtle patina and is all sharpened up and performing well

I saw that Beauty last week and didn’t notice it was New. Very attractive.

Good Friday knife: The one I have owned the longest, given to me by my Grandfather-in-law, whose funeral I performed a few years back.
I remember when he gave it to me, I was not terribly in love with it. Almost 20 years on now, and its a treasure.

That is just a handsome old knife all around. Is that one you did for your own collection or for a customer? I do not think I have seen its like!

Unfortunately, it was for a customer. I see so many amazing knives come through my shop, at the very least it's an honor to work on them, and to handle them.

Back from church, had my 66 with me. I don't know how it is elsewhere, but in Slovenia we take food (easter eggs, ham, horseradish and potica/nutroll) to church today where it gets blessed for Easter. Kind of a big deal. Tomorrow might be busy, so I'd like to wish you good folks on our porch all a nice happy Easter. I hope you don't mind it's a bit early. Hristos voskrese, my friends!
