I saw that Beauty last week and didn’t notice it was New. Very attractive. This is the knife I'm carrying today. I started carrying it last Saturday.
Last Saturday - In new condition - never carried, sharpened, etc..

Today - Starting to take on a subtle patina and is all sharpened up and performing well

Good Friday knife: The one I have owned the longest, given to me by my Grandfather-in-law, whose funeral I performed a few years back.
I remember when he gave it to me, I was not terribly in love with it. Almost 20 years on now, and its a treasure.

You just keep crankin' out the hits. Perfectly proportioned spear point blade right there.
That beauty deserves a handmade sheath.
You could quit your day job and start taking orders for leatherwork.
When I use fancy words, people look at me funny.
But I like the way you put that. Happy Easter to you.
Schrade Cut Co Walden NY.So who made that Sylphic muskrat? Schrade or Camillus? It looks fetching. Don't hesitate to share more photos.
I agree fully - it's reckless almost to the point of irresponsibility to not have at least one SAK on one's person.![]()
That is just a handsome old knife all around. Is that one you did for your own collection or for a customer? I do not think I have seen its like!
Thank you, my friend. That Bladeforums Stag Jack even helped slice the brisket when the hostess's knives were all found to be dull.Great shots of three great knives!
Have a great Passover, my friend.
It's a Schrade 108OT, traditional brown sawcutYour pic doesn't work for me - what is the knife? You have a fine story to go along with it.
BTW - your name is appropriate for the season!
